"Jesus f*****g Christ," I muttered, leaning back in my chair and rubbing a hand over my face. Staring at a screen for eight hours straight wasn’t what I was born to do, that was for f*****g sure. My body ached from sitting still for so long, my shoulders stiff, my legs restless. I needed to move, to get up, to do something other than sit in this damn chair like a caged animal.
