Valerie's POV
“Hey! Are you asleep?” I heard someone whisper, and I jumped up and was about to scream my lungs out when I saw it was the guy from earlier. Only then did I realize I didn't even know his name. He was standing, resting his back on the wall.
“I'm so sorry to scare you” he said, trying to hold his laughter, but he was failing miserably.
“I brought you food like I promised” he said, stepping forward. He dropped a paper bag in front of me.
“Thank you, you didn't tell me your name”. I pulled the bag to myself, took out the container to see he had got me a Mac and cheese.
“Ace, my name is Ace Lorenzo” he said with a half smile. “Nice to meet you”, I said and stretched my gor an hand shake, he looked at me keenly before taking it.
