I've never felt so small, useless, and insulted in my life. I thought getting to know that Mateo has a fiancée and Tate's betrayal was the cruelest thing life has thrown at me till Leonard gave the worst of it all. His words reawakened those voices in my head that I'd silenced.
It's been four days since the incident. I've not stepped out of the room, I've not eaten, I've only been taking water. I can't even sleep well without seeing this face in my dreams. His words have been tormenting me everywhere. I thought about calling Monica, but then it would be selfish for me to call her. I don't have anybody to vent to, I'm utterly lonely and dying of depression and rejection.
Malia, the maid, and Leonard's kids are the only ones who have knocked on my door to see if I'm fine. M
