Leonard's POV
“Boss, are you okay?” I heard Vance asking.
I heaved a sigh of relief, I thought I was shot, but it was Nicholas that got shot by Vance instead.
He rushed to me and helped me up. I groaned when he pulled me up.
“Where are the others? They left. Theo escaped. I went after him, but he just disappeared, but we have Paul and the twins”. He walked, and he supported me with his hands as we walk by Nicholas' body.
“Is he dead?” I asked and he shrugged. Team B were trooping in to carry Nicholas and his brothers back to the warehouse.
Stone joined us as we walked out of their warehouse to our car.
“Where's Valerie?” I asked.
“She's with Sarah. They left in the team van”, Vance said.
The ride back to the warehouse was a silent one.
I can't wait to see Valerie's face.
