Valerie's POV
I've been in hiding in the staff quarters for the past few days, Mrs Smith and the other workers are really taking care of me. I have regained strength and feel much better now except for the fear of Leonard finding out I'm still in his mansion.
I've imagined the worst-case scenarios of what he'll do to me when he finds me. I miss my children, but at the same time I want to be somewhere far from here, far from Leonard and his troubles.
I made friends with the maids, and they keep me busy when they're not working. It was nighttime. I was waiting patiently for Mrs Smith to return to her room. I need her help to get out of here by tomorrow. I'll probably be dead by the time Leonard finds me here, because fear is getting the best part of me.
