Three weeks after the colors appeared, the first war started. Two villages. One with red fire powers. One with blue ice powers. They had been rivals for generations. Now they had weapons. Xin rode between them. The red village on the left. The blue village on the right. Both sides had their colored light burning bright. "Stop," Xin shouted. A red villager threw a fireball. Xin dodged. The fireball hit a tree. The tree burned. A blue villager shot ice spikes. Xin dodged again. The spikes hit the ground. "Both sides. Stand down." The red leader stepped forward. "They started it. Their ice killed our crops." The blue leader stepped forward. "Your fire burned our homes." Xin looked at the damage. Burnt fields. Frozen buildings. No dead. Yet. "Who threw the first attack?"
