Valerie’s POV It was nearly midnight when a knock startled me up from my bed. I had no idea how I had gotten into my bed, and how I managed to get home. I stood up and quickly checked outside, my car was parked outside. Did I drive home myself? The knock on the door came again. Who was at the door? I didn’t remember the last time I had an unexpected visitor like this. The steady knock had caused my heart to race in panic. I was too scared to ask who was at the door. The room was still blurry and I could hardly remember what happened some hours back. The only thing I could remember was falling into a man’s arm.
