Valerie’s POV
I leaned forward, resting my elbows on my knees as I waited for Ian to spill the news out of her mouth. She had deliberately hid the news from me until I had to dance to her music.
She insisted I had something to eat before she spilled it out. Now I was done, I couldn’t wait to hear from her.
She sighed, taking a sip from the glass of juice she held. “I know she has been running her mouth, I had to send someone to get her invested. But the truth about all of this is Diana is terrified.”
I chuckled slightly, why was she terrified? I remembered she got everything she wanted. And that included Jules.
“Why is she terrified?” I asked calmly.
“She is scared of losing her daughter, Anna.” She replied, meeting my gaze.
“But no one is taking her away.” I snapped.
