The message from last night, I knew Jules was back in the town.
“You will see me soon,” the message reads.
His words burned through my heart like wildfire, even while I was with Raton, lying next to him, pretending I was cool and everything was fine like the way we had started.
After we stopped kissing, he started to talk about a new deal he was working on, and some new producer he wanted to introduce me to.
Despite the excitement on my face and the curiosity in my eyes, I couldn’t help but keep thinking about Jules and the message that followed behind it.
