Raton’s POV
It was almost midnight and she wasn’t home yet. Ian had said she wasn’t with her. I had tried to think about several places Valerie could possibly visit, but I was sure she wasn’t in any of those locations.
She would definitely reply to my text message if she was safe.
For a moment, I thought something had happened to her. But then, a notification popped on my screen. She just liked one of the comments under her post on i********:.
That only meant something, she was active and had deliberately refused to reply to my message or probably call me back.
I got into my car and drove back home. Just before I got to my estate, I reversed my car and drove straight to my Grandfather’s mansion instead.
He had warned me not to drive alone at night, but I didn’t care. Driving was
