Valerie’s POV
Ian stood on the doorpost, staring at everyone in the room. Then she started walking toward us, her heels clicking against the marble floor.
I narrowed my eyes away and concentrated on the script in my hand, pretending I hadn’t seen her coming towards my direction. We had been on set since the beginning of the week, and I had never been this nervous before.
Ian had told me the video would be sent to the sponsor, he wants to see more and might likely increase the deal if I perform better.
I had been cautious in every role, not wanting to make any more mistakes, and I had never been so nervous all my life. It wasn’t my first time but it seemed more like I was trying to pass a trial.
