Escape

Jazmine lowered James onto the ground outside of the window. Once outside the window too she felt a small hand pulling on her wrist. Looking down she saw James with his eyes squeezed shut holding out his tshirt for his sister. Jazmine hadn't realised how naked she was until he brother pointed it out.

"Thank you Prince" J patted her bothers head while she took his shirt to put on. Once covered she took in their surroundings. To get to the safe house they'll need to head northeast into the wood for about 15 miles then head straight east until they hit the lake. It's not usually a difficult trip but they've also only gone there for vacation never on the run.

Jazmine debated taking the trees but decides against it since her brother cant move very fast through them.

"James I'm going to do something but I dont want you to be scared okay" With that Jazmine allowed Katara to take control and shift into her black wolf.

James appeared scared at first but once he looked into Kataras emerald eyes he knew exactly what had happened. Katara lowered her head and front legs signaling for James to climb on.

He scrambled onto her back and gripped onto the midnight black fur with his tiny hands. Once he was secure Katara looked back telling him to hold on tight and began running as fast as she could towards the trees. She just had to make it out of the pack lands and into the forest, once there they'd be a little safer.

Katara was almost to the edge of the community pack lands with the trees in her line of sight when suddenly she smelled rogue everywhere. She stopped dead in her tracks taking in everybody surrounding her. 10 rogues.

"Katara I know we can't take them all but.."

"dont worry little one we will protect the Prince to our dying breath"

With that Katara released a growl that ripped across the skies telling the rogues that she wouldnt go down without a fight.

Before anybody could move two large wolves jumped into the middle of the circle blocking the rogues from the future Alpha and the Prince.

The largest wolf was as black as Katara with piercing blue eyes while the other was slightly smaller with blazing red fur and emerald eyes. Katara didnt need to smell them to know it was Flame and Sage, the Alpha and Lunas wolves there to protect their children.

"Katara please get my children to safety. Until I return you are the Alpha. NOW RUN!" The Alpha closed the link as Katara turned and bolted to the forest.
