Not so pleasant meeting 02

SKYLAR I was so lost down memory lane I didn't take note of the time. When I snapped out of my trance like state it was already dark out. s**t! I cursed. I really shouldn't be here by now. Getting up from the swing I hurriedly started walking towards my car. I hadn't even gone far when I noticed some guys following me. I picked up my pace trying to get to my car faster. They seemed to have noticed because they too started walking faster. I was scared so I broke into a run. I was caught almost immediately. The guy who I supposed was the leader tssked at me sending little droplets of saliva straight to my face. " Hey kid it's not very nice to snob people you know. I'm just trying to make friends with you. I'm Matthew and this is Leo and Marcus. What's your name? " Look dude I really have to go my father would be really worried about me right now. "He won't even tell us his name. Ok let's do it like this then, hand over your phone and wristwatch and maybe that jacket as well." That wristwatch was a birthday gift from my dad. I couldn't give it to him so instead I punched him in the jaw and made a run for it. I didn't get too far before the other two grabbed me immediately delivering punches to my gut. I toppled over in pain instantly. "You wanna do it this way, huh? Matthew sneered. Fine then. I'll have them beat the s**t out of you then take your stuff ." They kept delivering punches to my gut and not my face thankfully. It would be hard to explain a black eye to my father. When I was sure I was going to pass out from the pain a new voice rang out. "Matthew, leave the poor kid alone. Three to one,now that's sad. How about you pick a fight with someone your own size." "Stay out of my business, Jace. Or else... Or else what Matthew. I'll give you three seconds to scram. 3-2-" Let's go guys. And just like that Matthew and his friends were gone leaving me with Jace. Thank you. I croaked out. Get up and follow me was all he said. I got up rather painfully and he walked me back to my car. Thanks again for everything. He looked like he was going to say something but then stopped himself before walking away. Sighing I entered my car and drove home all the while thinking of excuses to tell my father.
