Survivors of the Doomsday 5

236 Words
Time passed quickly. After most of the things were prepared, I brought my parents over. To be honest, I feel ashamed. If I directly told them that the end of the world was coming, they definitely wouldn't believe it. So the reason for bringing my parents over was - I was getting married. Aji's parents were on business trips abroad all year round. It was too late to call them back now. Aji made a long phone call and gave many instructions before hanging up. My parents and Aji sat together. To be honest, it was a bit awkward. Aji kept drinking tea. My mother rubbed her hands. "Mianmian is still young. She's only twenty-five. Isn't it a bit early?" "It's not early, uncle and aunt. I want to settle down with Mianmian quickly." My father smiled rather awkwardly. Sure enough, as soon as I got home, my father educated me all night for being irresponsible for my own life. The next morning, we tricked our parents into saying that we were going to choose a wedding dress and asked them to stay for a while longer. Looking at the occasional reluctance shown by my mother, I secretly made up my mind that I mustn't disappoint my cousin's kind reminder. I also must ensure that all the people I care about survive. The end of the world is terrifying. I can only protect my own family!
