Episode 52 - Made It! Yacht ‘Boreas’, Saint Tropez, France, 31 December I cross the boardwalk and come to the gangway. Joining a group of guests, I begin to ascend the black yacht. My heart thuds, but I do my best to stay composed. My turn comes. Smiling, I pull the white envelope out of the pocket and hand it over to the guard. He takes it. But when he is about to open it, a tall Arab in sunglasses and a white shirt, unbuttoned on his chest, comes to him. The Arab leans over and whispers something to the guard. He nods, gives my envelope back to me and leaves his post. Seizing the moment, I walk into the salon. The brightly lit room is filled with hum of voices. Dozens of guests, trying to outvoice each other and the deafening music, shout in an attempt to maintain a small talk. I
