    We had driven to the next town we found, somewhere in nowhere, Missouri, and discovered a building to bunker down in for the night. It had been a quiet for the drive, the easy banter we usually shared dwarfed with this turn of events. How were we going to do this without him? The silence had been very heavy and even now, we still were stagnating in the weight of it, only speaking when necessary. Nobody knew what to say or do.
