Grace I pause outside the door to my kitchen flat, debating whether I should go make myself something to eat before I go shower and collapse into bed. If I don"t, I"m going to end up waking up in the middle of the night needing to eat, but it"s so much effort and my muscles are screaming at me from the repeated tricks and flips Zara has had us doing for a couple of hours on end. If the next round of the cheer competition wasn"t next week, I"d have stopped at Chicken Hut on the way back, but I know better than to stuff myself with junk food with so little time to go. There"ll be plenty of time for that after the competition is over. I head into the kitchen with the intention of making myself a smoothie, stopping in my tracks when I find Essie sitting inside wearing what appears to be on
