The Death Game of Netherland

The Lives between the two in the alternative world (Asuka) Part 1

There are lots of things that can change. But do you believe in it? Everything can change, everyone can change, specially if you live inside in an unfamiliar place, unfamiliar world, where you start wondering, what will be your life after you spent the rest of your life in that unfamiliar world of theirs.

You start wondering if you are going to change the things that you are used to it. Used to the world you was living before, but now... Can you go with their flow? Act like you know? Like you know something.

Can you get a sheep cloth to be with every sheep around you? Can you camouflage with the others. Can Asuka, camouflage with the others?

Asuka was standing in front of her closet, it's been a week since she woke up in the world she doesn't familiar with, in a world where everything is different, everyone is different. In the world she was fan of, in the world of Netherland. Her mom doesn't want her to go out, she was stuck inside her big house, or let's say, a big mansion that she isn't used to. Her house is so small, back to her origin world, back to her home. She never consider this world as her world. And until now, she didn't saw her best friend Shin, since she woke up, she never saw anyone, except for her mother, Carla who's having a vacation to her family's home since yesterday, and her dead father, where she can't really believe until now, it was like her father is haunting her. She learns too that Kyle is her boyfriend in this world, like the literally Kyle the Emo, the one that she just met at her real world, one week ago. But since she woke up here, she never saw Kyle, Kyle is calling her for the past three days but she isnt answering the call, she was shy and still not sure on what she's going to say. But as long as she heard, Kyle and Asuka in this world are a great couple, but can she really play as a great girlfriend to Kyle, if this Asuka living in the Netherland, isn't the Asuka who lived inside here, but when Asuka felt guilty by not answering her phone, or Kyle's call, she tried reaching Kyle's back, but he never answer his phone.

About her family, her father was alive, but the thing is, they were never close, even her mom, in short, it was like they we're just room mate, why? Because they never talk, her mom and dad is doing something to make themselves as a bisy person. She doesn't know why, but she thinks that maybe even her family can change too, this family can change too.

She wanted to live inside the Netherland because it's her favorite movie, who doesn't want to live the life of their favorite characters in the movie right? But she was thinking that, she wanted to live here, but not this way, not the way her mom is always slapping her, hurting or doesn't even care about her, and her dad who is alive but too busy keeping tracks about the legend world called Earth, which is her world.

And the last interesting thing that when she woke up, she learns that she was an actress here, living in a good town. Playing the best iconic role in the best memorable movie ever made here.

There's no people who has a dark magic can go in their land, in their town, because they never want to happen what happened before in the dark magic town, where a dark almost killed thousands of people whose living there. They don't wanna die.

Their are lots of common thing in the real Netherland world, and their are lots that doesn't really real, like it was made of, or maybe joke of. Like the islands that containing the whole Netherland world.

Netherland was really split into 5 parts, 5 lands, the good island, where people are living there is a good person, no criminals or bad person is living there, people who have a light magic powers, the good town, people who doesn't have a magic but there's still part of good island, they are still good, where Asuka lives, where actors and actresses lives. The Kagawad family doesn't any have powers, the good town are the one who produce the Earth The Movie, Akai's favorite movie.

The other parts in Netherland are, the Dark Magic Island, whose power are deadly, dark, heavy and killer powers, the black magic town, people who commit crime are living there, they have no power too, lile the people living in the good city, but the opposite of it, but after what happened 5 years ago, the people who lives there are now lesser than before, so does the crime become less. After a deadly poisonous mist killed almost thousands of people living there, in the dark city.

And the last part that is making the Neterland a world, are an island where good and bad people united, the place where the celebration of the Earth the Movie happen. But, not really united. The fifth island was split into half by using a line that the marker draw, or a tie. They can't split the island because it's too small to be cut in half, and if it happened, fifth island will sink under the lake, and it'll disapear, just like that, by cutting the island into half.

But there was a gossip that there is another island, called the pluto. Where the portal was placed, a portal that was made and become a legend billion years ago , a portal where when it happens to open, the one who went in the portal will get what they want, what they wish, what they think, it's a magical place where what you think, will happen. The portal, the same portal that was portrayed in the movie, back in Earth, the movie Asuka was so addicted.

The pluto was usually called as The Portal of Netherland, the legend Portal of the Netherland.

Like in the movie Netherland, the only thing to open it is to find the key, and what are the keys to open it? The seven gems, but they never believe on it, why? Because they never saw the land of Pluto, until without any evidence or any trace of it's existence, no one will believe on the legend island, or as they called, the last island. Like how they aren't believing on the world called Earth, because there is no evidence of it's existence, just some movie that never shows or explain why did they make it or if the world that was used in their movie is really existing.

"Yeah, my life are perfect, I have all the money, clothes, I have a complete family in this world... But... I don't wanna live like this, I want to feel something like I usually feel when I am home, when I am back at home, at Earth..." Asuka whispered while looking at her big white closet that was inside of her big fancy room. She opens it and a lots of expensive clothes was inside. "I don't even want this fancy clothes of mine." She said and she closes her wardrobe. Maybe she doesn't want it because she isn't used to it.

Asuka never knew the story behind the Earth the movie, or what the movie is all abouy, she never watches it, she doesn't want to look at her own reflection doing the acting thing in the television. But she was curious about it, she wanted to see what is it about....

Or if they really portray what the Earth really looks like.

"Ma'am. Your parents are downstairs, they want to eat their lunch." Carla said, her caretaker, her soul almost left her body because she thought Carla is in her vacation days. "Oh God! You scared me. I thought you we're in your vacation?" Asuka asks. Carla smiled. "It's your day of course, I didn't miss every special days of yours, if you forgot." Carla said. Asuka was confuse on what Carla is saying about the special day. But she just go with the flow."Alright, I'm coming down." She said and Carla lefts. "Atleast there's still a good person inside this house." Asuka whispered.

Asuka went downstairs where her parents are now in the dining table, waiting for her. She was so confuse on what's happening, they never ate with complete family on the dining table.

Asuka sat down and then she smiled, awkwardly.

"What are you wearing?" Her mother asks looking at her silly blue old dress. "Dress?" She said. "Why? It's ugly. Where did you even get that?" Her mother continue asking. "On my closet?" She said. "You know what, if you want to dress like that in your birthday, then fine." Her mother said.

Birthday?

She said in her mind. Until she remember that today is her birthday. She forget it because she's thinking a lot of things. Like is this even real? Or, is this really happening??

Her caretaker, Carla put the pink cake on the table. A huge cake for her birthday.

She never have cake for 5 years every time her birthday comes, because they lose money. She was thinking that maybe living here is good sometimes, so she could feel again what it feels being rich.

She remember that everytime her birthday comes, the only thing she could get is a gift from her bestfriend, Shin and they celebrate her birthday after class. And of course, her mother who's give is love, and some simple pretty things that she completely appreciated.

Speaking of school, she never attended school when she woke up, she was home schooled, that is one of the reason she cant go out of the house.

"Happy Birthday Asuka." Both of her parents greeted her. "Thanks." She answered. They start eating without talking to each other, like she's eating her lunch alone, because no one talks.

After the silent lunch, her parents give her a gifts. She just smiled, this is the boring birthday she ever had, even she have a cake and a three gifts, and her family is complete, she can't feel it, because it's like they're heart is far away from reality. The feeling of celebrating her birthday with her mother and bestfriend are whole different vibe by celebrating her birthday with fancy cake and fancy gift with her parents aren't talking to each other.

She went to her mansions balcony, to see people outside. She never went outside, and she wanted to try. She heard a foot steps behind her so she look back. Her father is walking towards her, with his serious face.

"I never knew that this place was this beautiful." Asuka said. She wanted to talk to her father, she never saw her father for 7 years, she never heard her father's voice, she never talk to her father for 7 years, she never touch her father for whole freaking 7 years...

And this is the time, for her to move on... By talking to the man who isn't his father, but her father in another world, this world.

But now that her father is alive here, she can't talk to him, she was afraid, this father in this world is different, and her father in Earth, she don't know, she was too little that time, not knowing what is happening on her life...

"Yes. It's more pretty from outside of this town, when you saw the good magic place." Her father said. Asuka look to him. "Huh? But you never went there. I mean, we can't go in the island." Asuka said. She learns it in a book of rules. Where the rules about the Netherland was written there. "You don't know a lot of things Asuka, you were busy filming with your Earth the movie." Her father said.

Asuka look at him, she knew about the movie, but didn't know that she was the actress there.

"You've changed." Her father said. "Changed?" Asuka asks. She was thinking that her father see something is being suspicious to her moves and works, because she doesnt know what the Asuka from here is doing, if she was in this situation right now, or what her attitude will be. Because she is very confident that she and the other Asuka have a different personalities, so she isn't shock if her father or her mother will say that she's different, because parents know it all when it comes to their children. "You do what we told you to do, you never went outside, and... The pendant your wearing. We saw that before." Her father explained. "Usually, you talk louder than your mom, and your seeing your boyfriend Kyle almost every seconds." He added. "Things can changed dad, you will never know when." The only thing Asuka can say.

She wanted to tell the truth, but who will believed her, right?

She doesn't even know how if she woke up in the Netherland, in the movie's world, she doesn't know if she was inside the movie, or this world really exist, but she can't answer why. She doesn't even sure if she's inside the movie or Netherland really exists, the legend world of them.

She can't explained everything. She doesn't have an answer.

"Dad?" Asuka called her dad. "I miss you.. so much... It might be weird, but... It felt like you are gone for a year, for 7 years to be exact..." Asuka lied, she never felt like her dad is gone, because the truth is, her dad is really gone. "Is this the line of your character in the second movie?" Her father said and both of them laugh. Asuka approach her father and hug him, she started crying.

She misses the feeling of her father's hugging her back. She misses the smell.

"Who killed you..." Asuka whispered. She was so shock when she realizes that she said it out loud, instead of saying it in her mind. They separate from hugging each other, her father looks to her eyes. "It's another line from the movie, just practicing it." She saisd in excuses.

She look back outside and she was shock to find Shin and Kyle talking to each other.

"Dad... Its my birthday, can I go outside?" Asuka asks. " And you never wait for permission. Yes." Her father said. "Thank you!" Asuka said and she run downstairs. When she went outside her house, she felt freedom is with her.

The fresh air was surrounding her, for the first time, she felt happy again, she saw Shin and Kyle, and now she's out of her house after longing inside for weeks.

Asuka run outside to find Shin and Kyle.

People are looking to her, the others are screaming, the reason why? It is because almost all of the people who watches the movie knows her.

Finally, she saw Shin and Kyle.

"Shin!" Asuka shouted her name. "Shin! Kyle!!" She shouted again. The two look back and look to Asuka. Asuka smiled while Shin and Kyle are confuse. "Who are you?" Shin asks.
