A peon enters the class and the professor stopped teaching averting his gaze toward him.

“Yes…” The professor asked.

The peon told him something and he nodded his head.

“Aarohi Agrawal, you have to go to the principal’s cabin. He wants to talk with you.” Professor said looking at Aarohi.

She just nodded her head and closed her book and stood up from the seat.

“What happened, Aaru? Why he is calling you?” Anaya asked pulling her hand.

“I don’t know. I will tell you after the class.” She said and left from there.

“I doubt on that b***h Nisha. Look.” Shiv whispered in Anaya’s ear and they looked at Nisha who was smirking widely.

“Then I will kill her if she had done something,” Anaya said greeting her teeth.

Shiv shakes his head and both looked at the green board.

"She is gone today." Nisha mutter in her friend's ear and they laughed giving hive-five to each other.

Principal Cabin

“May I come in sir?” Aarohi asked knocking on the door.

“Yes come in.” The principal replied looking up to her.

She enters the cabin and stood in front of him.

“Aarohi, you are suspended for two weeks.” The principal said in a stern voice and her eyes went widens with shock.

“Suspend? But why sir? What I did?” Aarohi asked with panic.

“Aarohi, you did which we never expected from you. Warden got drugs from your cupboard.” The principal said in disbelief thus the earth slipped from under her feet.

She held one of the chairs for support to stop herself from falling on the floor.

“Sir… sir… this can’t happen. I don’t take drugs and I don’t know anything about drugs. Please sir, believe me.” She said in a pleading tone as tears rolled down from her eyes.

“Sorry Aarohi. We believe in proofs. I am taking your scholarship back and from now you also can’t stay in the hostel. Now dismiss.” The principal said getting up from the chair and left from there.

Aarohi broke down in tears as come out of the cabin. She started walking in the corridor and sat on the bench crying heartily. She covered her face between her palms and cried hard. She just couldn’t believe everything shatters within a blink. She was coming from a middle-class family that’s why she can’t afford college fees and hostel fees. Her father’s income was not enough for them still they never complain. She did hard work for the scholarship and now it’s also snatched away from her.

“Tch… tch… poor Aarohi. I am feeling really bad for you.” Nisha said with a smirk and clapped her hands.

Anaya, Shiv, and Tanya come there and saw her crying. Anaya engulfs in her hug and rubbed her back.

“Nisha, just go away from here before I do damage to your ugly face.” Tanya snapped at her angrily.

“I am not dying to see her stupid cry,” Nisha said stomping her foot and left from there.

“Oh, God!!! Aaru, what happened?” Anaya asked sitting beside her and hold her shoulder.

Aarohi narrated everything and burst out in tears and hugged her.

“I knew it. It was all done by that b***h but f**k we don’t have any proof against her.” Shiv said fisting his palm.

Her friends console her and took her to the hostel. They helped her packing in kinds of stuff and made her sits inside the bus and bid-bye her. They promised her that they will prove her innocent.

Dehradun

She reached her home and walked inside with a fake smile. She just can’t tell them the real reason behind her arrival so she had lied to them.

“Aaru, what a surprise?” Her mother Malini said coming toward her and she hugged her mother tightly.

“I missed you so much, mamma,” Aaru said crying and her mother too cried.

Aaru was not only crying because she missed them but she was in mental pain right now and she just wants to stay remain in her mother’s arms.

“We missed you too, Aaru.” She said breaking the hug and kissed her forehead wiping her tears.

“How are papa and bearbro and where are they?” Aaru asked as they sat on the wooden sofa.

“They are fine. They will come after an hour and your papa in the evening. But why are you here all of sudden?” She asked back caressing her hair.

“Actually mamma sports days are going to start the next week and it will be continuing for two weeks so I thought to come here and spend two weeks with my family,” Aaru said smiling brightly.

“Okay. Now go to your room and get fresh up. I will make something for you.” She said touching her cheek.

Aaru nodded her head and went to her room. She placed her clothes in the cupboard and went into the bathroom. After changing in comfortable clothes, she went downstairs to help her mother.

"Mamma, what are you cooking?" She asked opening the lid and took the smell of food.

"Your favorite Vegetable curry stuffed capsicum and Jeera rice." Her mother replied ruffling her hair and Aaru's face lit up with excitement.

"Wow mamma, you're the best but you don't have to do all these for me." She said rested her head on her shoulder.

"I have only one daughter." Her mother kissed her forehead and Aaru hugged her tightly.

"I love you, mamma." She mumbled wiping her tears before her mother noticed it.

She chuckled breaking the hug and they started making dinner.

New York

A man comes out of his room talking over the phone looking like asking for an apology.

“Sister-in-law, please… I am sorry.” He said in an apologetic tone.

“I don’t need your sorry, Kabir. Just tell me when you’re coming back?” His sister-in-law Navya asked with faked anger.

“Ok, I will come after three days. I promise.” He said with a small laugh.

“Good for you because I am not going to talk to you if you break your promise this time.” She said flaring her nose and rubbed big belly.

“Sure sister-in-law. Don’t take the stress and take care of yourself and my pumpkin.” He said sitting on the chair and a maid serves him breakfast.

“Okay, and we are missing you, uncle. Come soon. Bye and Good night” She said in a babyish tone and he laughed from the other side.

“Your wish is my command sister-in-law. Bye. Love you all. Good night.” He said sipping coffee and disconnected the call.

He had his breakfast and left for the office since its morning there. Kabir Malhotra, a young businessman and very talented. He is handsome and hot for any girl but also very decent. For him, family always comes first before work. He lives in New York, away from his family due to their business. He used to come to India 2 or 3 times a year.

A Week Later

Aaru was looking for ads for a job as she has to pay her fees. Pradeep her father knocked on the door and she instantly hides the newspaper.

“Papa, you don’t need to knock.” She said getting up from the chair and went to him.

“I thought you must be busy.” He said ruffling her hair with a smile.

“I wasn’t that much busy papa that you need to knock on the door. If I were busy, then I would have locked the door but I left the door half open.” She hugs him and he patted her head.

She held his arms and takes him to the bed. They sat there on the bed and he held her hands.

“What are you doing?” He asked.

“Reading a book. You want to talk about something?” She asked rubbing her palm with his palm.

“Aaru, I don’t know how to say it to you. There is a boy. I want you to meet him. He is my boss Rajiv’s younger son. My boss saw your photo and he liked you a lot. Even he also showed your photo to his family and they also liked you. Aaru there is no pressure for you. I just want you to meet him once. He is a very nice guy. Whatever decision you take we will accept it.” He said looking into her eyes.

“Okay, papa. I will meet him.” She said assuring him and he smiled at her.

“Thank you, Aaru. You will not regret meeting him. They will come here to meet you tomorrow.” He said kissing her forehead.

"Tomorrow?" She asked shockingly.

"Yes, they were eager to meet you. Actually, they wanted to come today but I convinced them and they agreed for tomorrow." He chuckled remembering his conversation with Rajiv.

She just nodded her head and her father left from there. She closed the door and went to the window. She looked in the sky and watched the moon. She doesn’t know why her heart was beating fast. She wasn’t ready for a new relationship when her current life was giving her trouble with each step. She prayed to God to help her in coming out of this situation.

At Malhotra Mansion

Kabir comes out of the bathroom and saw his brother and sister-in-law sitting on his bed and waiting for him.

“No means no…” He said shaking his head negatively and throws a towel on the couch.

“Please Kabir. Just meet her once. For me.” Navya said in a pleading tone.

“Sister-in-law, this is blackmailing.” He said with a pout and sat beside her.

“Because you’re showing tantrums. We just ask you to meet her once. It’s not like we are going to get you married at that moment.” Parth said slapping his head.

“Don’t hit me. I am not a baby anymore. Your own kid is on the way to behave like a father.” He groaned annoyingly but earned another hit from his brother.

“You’re also my big kid so I have right. You’re also behaving like a stubborn kid.” Parth scolded him and he raised his hand in surrender.

“Alright, bro and dear sister-in-law. But what’s her name?” He asked raising his brows.

“Aarohi. I sent you her photo. We liked her a lot.” Navya said with a smile.

“Okay. Now you both go and sister-in-law you need rest.” He said caressing her baby bump and she smiled at his care.

“Okay... okay. Don't need to pretend like you care for me. Just tell me you want privacy..” She joked winking at him and he rolled his eyes.

They went from there and he closed the door taking a deep breath. He pulled out his mobile from charging and jumped on the bed unlocking it. He opens her image and kept looking at her for some time.

After having dinner they went back to their room. He laid his head on her lap and she roamed her hand through his hair.

“What are you thinking?” Navya asked as he was lost in watching her picture.

“I am afraid. What if she comes out a bad girl? I mean what if she just wants to be with me for money.” He stated his point and she chuckled.

“Aarohi is a very sweet and innocent girl, Kabir. She isn’t a selfish and money-minded girl. I have met her two times and learned that she is the most innocent girl on the earth. I like her already.” She smiled patting his forehead.

“What if I don’t like her?” He asked sitting on the bed.

“Then you have to find a good reason to reject her.” She squeezed his nose.

“That I will find later. What she is doing now?" He asked.

"MBA last year student. She is a brilliant student and shy by personality. She can help you in business too." She ruffled his hair and he rolled his eyes.

"Now you go and sleep.” He frowns and she laughed.

“Okay. Good night. Dream of her.” She said winking at him and he rolled his eyes.

She left from there and he closed the door taking a deep breath and lay on the bed.

“Time to meet you, Ms. Aarohi.” He said caressing her image and smiled brightly.

Here cold breeze touched her face and sensation ran overall in her body as if someone touched her soul. The pace of her heartbeat increase and she kept her hand on her chest trying to control her uneven heartbeat. Tomorrow is going to be a long day for her or maybe the best day.

"What happened sister?" Sanket asked standing beside her.

"I don't know bearbro. I don't know how to handle this proposal? I am afraid." She states turning toward him.

"Sister, don't take the stress. I know you are afraid but papa told you that there is no force on you. You can deny the marriage if you don't like the guy." Sanket held her hands.

She shook her head and went to the bed followed by him as he sat beside her, "I know papa said that but I am afraid. What if I like the guys?" She asked.

"Then you will get married to him. And to be honest, I am already feeling that he is the guy for you." He replied laying his head in her lap.

She ran her hand through his hair and spoke, "That is why I am afraid. I don't want to get married and leave you, mamma, and papa alone. I don't want to leave this house. I want to help papa."

"Sister, you don't have to afraid of anything. If he is in your destiny and you will get what you want." Sanket said with a yawn and she again shook her head.

Marriage is a beautiful moment in every person's life. They get hitched with their partner with whom they are destined.
