When He Caught Her

Aarohi and Abhi reached the canteen and engulfed by her friends. Girls even cried as babies and boys laughed at them. They sat on the chair and Shiv went to order food for them.

“Abhi, when did you come from Bhopal and how is your mom?” Aaru asked keeping her mobile on the table.

“She is fine. Wait this is your phone?” Abhi asked taking her mobile and observed properly which she nodded her head.

Shiv too glance at her mobile and their eyes popped out in the socket.

“Oh my God!!!! Aaru this is unbelievable.” Shiv exclaimed shockingly still observing her mobile.

“What happened?” She asked confusingly.

“Aaru, this mobile is not even launched in the market, and from where did you get it?” Abhi asked shockingly.

Meanwhile, Tanya noticed her hand and saw the ring on her finger.

“Ohhh freakkk guys…!!! She is engaged.” She said taking her hand and showed her ring to everyone.

Aarohi closed her eyes tightly and all set to welcome bunches of questions.

“You got engaged and you didn’t even invite us,” Anaya asked in disbelief.

“Yes, Aaru. You didn’t even tell us anything about your engagement.” Shiv said shaking his head negatively.

“Guys listen to me. It happened all of sudden. They were just come to see me and instantly liked me. They wanted to see us together so we got engaged instantly.” Aaru explained.

“Ohh…!!! What’s his name? How is he? Are you happy?” Tanya asked raising her brows.

“His name is Kabir and he is very nice and I am happy with him,” Aaru said blushingly little.

“Oh my my my…!!! Someone is blushing.” Anaya said teasing her and she blushed more.

“Wait, this mobile given by Kabir. Right?” Abhi asked showing her mobile.

She nodded her head and took her mobile back. She opens her mobile and her and Kabir selfie on the home screen. She blushed to see that picture and shook her head lightly thinking he must have done it. She showed their picture to them and their eyes popped in the socket.

“You are engaged to The Kabir Malhotra?” Shiv asked rubbing his eyes looking at the selfie.

“You mean The Kabir Malhotra. The Kabir Malhotra. The youngest billionaire of New York.” Abhi exclaimed with wide eyes.

Aaru nodded her head and Anaya and Tanya hugged her tightly.

“We are really happy for you Aaru. This suspension was your destiny and he is very handsome.” Tanya said with a smile.

“Yes, Aaru. Not everyone is lucky like you.” Anaya said holding her hands.

“That’s why you have this mobile. It’s not even launched in the market. Its launching date is 15th March and your to-be husband is the owner of this company.” Shiv said making her surprised.

“This mobile has the best features and one of the best mobile,” Abhi said observing her mobile.

Aarohi didn’t say anything and was just thinking about how her life changed in the blink of her eyes. Till now she doesn’t have a mobile but now she has the best mobile. It’s not only about mobile but she never asked her father for anything and now God gifted her everything without her acknowledgment.

“Umm… Aaru, does Kabir knows about your suspension?” Anaya asked biting her lips.

Aaru starred at her for a minute and then looked down as tears brimmed in her eyes and shook her head negatively.

“Aaru… ssh… it’s okay.” Tanya rubbed her back and glared at Anaya.

“If… if.. what if he gets to know about it? He will hate me if he found that my name was involved in drug scam. I am afraid.” She cried hugging Tanya.

“Aaru, stop crying. We will find a way to come out of that mess. Just don’t cry now.”Anaya said consoling her.

“She is right, Aaru. You need to calm down. We all are with you.” Abhi said caressing her hair and she broke the hug.

“He has a huge image in the society and I have a dark spot in my name. What if he breaks our engagement?” Aaru asked trying to control her tears.

“He will never do these to you, Aaru. You know why?” Abhi asked wiping her tears.

She nodded her head negatively and he smiled a little.

“Because he is so good for you. Yes, he had a huge image in society but he is not like a spoilt brat. He is mature and responsible. He will understand. And about you. You are pure as holy water.” Abhi explained.

She just looked down playing with her fingers and tried to understand his words. Will Kabir understand her?

A Week Later

Kabir walked inside the hotel followed by his PA Varun and saw delegates waiting for him.

“Hello, Mr. Rana,” Kabir said forwarding his hand.

“Hello, Mr. Malhotra. Nice to meet you.” He said shaking his hand with him.

Kabir sat in front of him and Varun sat beside him.

“How can I help you, sir?” A waitress asked.

Kabir instantly looked up hearing a familiar voice and found his Aarohi in the waitress’s dress. Here Aaru was shocked more than him and her legs started trembling with fear.

“Mr. Rana, can we postpone this meeting? I have something serious come up.” Kabir said in a serious tone.

Mr. Rana senses his seriousness and nodded his head.

“It’s okay, Mr. Malhotra. Just inform me when you get free.” Mr. Rana said with a smile.

“Sure and thank you so much for understanding me. My assistant will inform you. See you later.” Kabir said glancing over at Aarohi.

Soon Mr. Rana left from there and Kabir stood up followed by Varun.

“Varun, I want a room room here. Now.” Kabir said without looking at him.

“Yes sir,” Varun said and left from there.

“I don’t have to say anything to you. Go and change your clothes and come back to me.” Kabir said in a harsh tone with no emotion.

Without argument, she went from there and Varun comes with the room key and handed him.

“You go back to the office,” Kabir said sternly.

“Okay, sir.” Saying this he left from there.

After a few minutes, Aaru comes back playing with her finger and looking down at the floor. He held her wrist tightly and literally dragged her into the elevator. After a few seconds, they reached the floor and he took her to the room. He opens the door and went inside the room.

He made her sat on the bed and gave her water. She gulped down silently and he took the glass from her hand. Tears rolled down from her eyes and he punched the wall.

“Stop crying and explain.” He yelled at her and she flinched back in fear.

She sobbed more and he realized his mistake and sat beside her.

“I am sorry. I didn’t mean to scare you.” He said holding her face and wiped her tears but she sobbed more and his heart ached to see her like this.

“Please, I am sorry.” He said keeping her head on his chest and caressed her hair.

After some time she stopped crying feeling protected and looked at him.

“Tell me. Why are you working as a waitress?” He asked moving his thumb on her cheek.

She sobbed little and told him everything from the beginning. He was shocked and angry that how can people accused an innocent girl like Aaru.

“I.. I.. d.. don’.. don’t take drugs. I.. do.. don’t how th.. they… got it fro… from my room. My.. my scho.. scholarship tak… taken back.” She said stammering badly and more tears rolled down from her eyes.

He instantly hugged her and she cried in his arms. He was caressing her hair and thinking about her. He broke the hug and cupped her face.

“Now you don’t have to worry about your problems.” He said looking in her eyes but she jerked his hands.

“I don’t need your help.” She said looking away from him but he again held her face and made her look in his eyes.

“I know you don’t need my help. I know you are an independent and selfless girl. I know you have your own self-respect and I also have respect for you. But now you are not alone. You are my responsibility and let me take my responsibility, L’amour. I want to remove this black circle around from your eyes. I want to see your smile without worries. Let me take care of you and your problems.” He said moving his finger on her circle and she let her tears roll on her cheeks.

“I don’t know what to say and what to do?” She said keeping her head on his shoulder and he kissed her hair.

“Just don’t say and do anything. Let me take your problem and pain, baby.” He said taking her inside hug and she didn’t say anything.

After some time she moved out of his embrace realizing and her cheeks flushed at their closeness. Ohh…!!! How much he missed her blushing face.

“Did you realize we shared our first hug?” He asked pulling her closer by holding her forearms and she struggled to blush profusely.

“Kabir pleaseee…” She said in low voice not meeting her gaze with him.

“Please, what L’amour?” He asked teasingly making her blush more.

She just hugged him hiding her face in his neck and he laughed hugging her back tightly. They broke the hug after a few minutes and he kissed her both cheeks which were compatible with apple.

“I love your blushing face, baby. You look beautiful.” He said kissing her forehead lovingly.

“Thank you.” She mumbled and he caressed her right cheek.

Her eyes fell on his knuckle which was red and she took his hand in her hand. She slowly caressed the red area and blow air on it.

“Go and wash your face and call your friends here.” He said pecking her nose and she ran inside the bathroom making him laugh.

He thought something and calls someone. She comes out of the bathroom and saw him talking over the phone. He looked at her and passed her smile thus she smiled back to him. She sends a message to her friends and he comes to her.

“Let’s go.” He said holding her hands and kissed her palm.

She nodded her head shyly and both walked out of the room. She was feeling relieved after opening her heart to him and also happy that he didn’t judge her like others. He is different and she likes him.

They sat on the chair and he orders food for them. He had already talked with the manager about her because not even in his bad dream he wants to see her in that waitress dress.

“Are you okay?” He asked rubbing her palm.

“Yes.” She replied with a shy smile.

“Promise me that you will not hide anything from me. Anything means anything.” He said holding her palm and looks straight into her eyes.

“I promise I will not hide anything from you.” She said looking in his eyes and he kissed her forehead.

“Good because you are my responsibilities and I can’t see you helpless.” He squeezed her hand and rubbed his thumb on her cheek.

“I don’t know how to say thanks to you. We just met a few days ago and you are already doing this much for me.” She gets emotional as tears brimmed in her eyes but he held her face in his hands and shook his head negatively.

“You forgot to say that we got engaged a few days ago so you are officially my fiancée. Aarohi, I like you and I hate those tears in your eyes so whatever I am doing it for myself.” He wiped her tears with a light smile.

Her next move surprise him as she wrapped her hands around his back and hugged him resting her head on his chest. He chuckled hugging her back and kissed her hair. Their food arrives and they broke the hug while he saw her red cheeks.

“You look beautiful when you blush. Let me feed you.” He said feeding her and she ate from his hand with the same blush.

She too fed him without looking at him that made him laugh at her cuteness. Meanwhile, their friends too come and looked the newly engaged couple in aww.

“Such a cute couple,” Tanya said teasingly and Aaru blushed to hide her face in his chest.

“Yesss… so sweet. And look our Aaru is already in Love with our brother-in-law.” Anaya winked at them.

Aaru instantly pulled back and looked away blushing profusely.

“We meet first time, sir. I am Shivam and he is Abhishek. We call him Abhi.” Shiv said shaking his hand with him.

“Hello, Sir…” Abhi too said shaking his hand with him.

“Don’t call me sir. It sounds so oldie. Call me by my name.” Kabir said with a smile.

“But I will call you brother-in-law because Aaru is like our sister,” Anaya said clapping her hands like a kid.

“Me too.” Tanya squealed out.

Kabir just smiles at them shaking his head positively and Aaru blushed to shake her head at her crazy friends.

“You guys are too good. But I called you here for reason.” Kabir said in a serious tone.

“What is it?” Abhi asked.

“Do you guys have doubt on anyone who can put drugs in Aarohi’s cupboard?” Kabir asked.

“Doubt? We are 100% sure that Nisha had done it.” Shiv exclaimed.

“Who Nisha?” Kabir asked raising his brows.

“College b***h. Always jealous of Aaru because our Aaru is the topper and everyone always praised her.” Tanya said angrily.

“Don’t worry. Tanya and Anaya, I need your help. Will you help me?” Kabir asked.

“We will do anything to prove Aaru innocent,” Anaya said.

“Okay then listen to me carefully,” Kabir said explaining his plan and everyone was listening to him keenly.

“Okay. Done.” Tanya said.

“My friend Deven will give you things. Look he is here.” Kabir said pointing at him.

“Hey, buddy…” Deven said hugging him.

“Good. Thanks for coming.” Kabir said as he sat beside him.

“Come on. I am your friend. Is she sister-in-law?” He asked looking at Aaru.

“Yes, meet Aarohi, my fiancée. And Aarohi he is my friend Deven Suryavanshi.” Kabir said holding her by the shoulder and she smiled at him.

“Well, you got such beautiful girl,” Kabir said making her blush.

“Yes, that she is and these are her friends. Tanya, Anaya, Shiv, and Abhi.” Kabir said pointing at her friends.

Kabir greeted everyone and he purposely kissed Anaya’s hand. He gave them spy cameras, microphones, and Bluetooth.

“Girls, you can see and hear her words throughout your laptop. It will get record automatically.” Deven said looking at Anaya.

They nodded their head and Aaru clutched Kabir’s hand which he looked at her and assured her looking in her eyes.

“Ok, then we have to go now,” Shiv said getting up followed by Abhi.

Tanya and Anaya hugged Aaru and shake hands with Kabir.

“Come guys. I will drop you at the hostel.” Kabir said with a smile.

Soon they left from there and Kabir and Aarohi too walked out of the hotel. He opens the door for her and she sat inside the car. He closed the door and went to the driver's seat.

“Thank you, Kabir.” She said looking at him.

“No need of it. I did it for my happiness. Your happiness is my happiness.” He said caressing her cheek and concentrated on driving the car.

Her eyes welled up with tears but instantly wiped and smiled brightly without worries. After a few minutes, he stopped the car in front of her house and removed his seat belt.

“Keep smiling for me.” He said cupping her face and looked into her eyes.

She shook her and he kissed her forehead. He also pecked her cheeks making her blush harder and she hides her face in his chest.

“You look cute when you blush.” He said caressing her hair and hugged her tightly.

She broke the hug and got out of the car. He too got out of the car and she gave him confused look but he pulled her closer.

“Go on a date with me, tomorrow.” He asked pushing some random locks behind the ear.

She shook her head positively and he kissed her hair as she rested her head on his chest. After a few minutes, they broke the hug and she ran inside the house while he chuckled and left from there smiling at her cuteness.
