in halls of power, where shadows play a figure stands, with authority's sway a voice that's loud, a hand that's cold crushing dreams, and hearts of gold beneath the gaze, of those who fear the silenced tremble, and shed a tear their voices muffled, their souls oppressed as power's weight, their lives repress the mighty wield, their power with might crushing dissent, and silencing the night their words are law, their rule is strict leaving the weak, to suffer and convict in darkness, they hide their shame their actions hidden, behind a mask of fame but the echoes, of suffering and pain resound through time, and forever remain the powerless tremble, the voiceless sigh as fear's grip tight, their hearts deny the courage to speak, the strength to stand leaving them broken, in a helpless land their stories untold, their struggles unseen their lives reduced, to mere statistics, and themes their humanity, lost in the haze of a system, that's designed to amaze the powerful, with their pomp and pride look down upon, the weak, and divide they use their might, to keep them in place and silence their voices, with a subtle face but still, there's hope, a glimmer of light a chance for change, a beacon in flight for when the oppressed, find their voice the mighty will fall, and justice will rejoice the tide of change, will slowly rise and those who suffered, will meet the skies their voices heard, their stories told and the powerful, will be held to account, bold the silence will break, the voices will rise and the mighty will tremble, before the oppressed' eyes their power will wane, their influence will fade as the people rise, and their freedom is made the struggle is long, the road is hard but the reward is great, the victory is scarred for when the powerless, find their might they will rise up, and shine with all their light and so we'll stand, and we'll raise our voice and we'll demand, that justice make some noise we'll call out the mighty, for their crimes and we'll stand with the powerless, until they shine the time for change, is now at hand the time for justice, is here to stand we'll rise up, and we'll make some noise and we'll demand, that our voices be joiced.
