The warehouse

Asher walked toward the fence to get a better look at where he was sure he had seen the shadowy figure but just after he had started to walk away, Thomas grabbed his shoulder. “Don’t wander off Asher, this tour is important and there are some very dangerous things around here that if you don’t know what they are or where they are you could get hurt badly. The local wildlife around here can be pretty dangerous. There are woods and bears out there plus a lot of supernatural creatures that call these woods home.” Asher looked back to where he thought he saw the shadowy figure and but whatever he had seen was gone now. Asher looked from the spot up to Thomas whose face had darkened since Asher last looked at it. Thomas had obviously seen something out in the woods that had given him reason for concern. “Please come back to the group and follow us to the warehouse, okay Asher?” Asher nodded his head “Yeah let's go back to the group, I’m sorry for wandering off.” “It's okay Asher, I just want you to stay safe. I’m a bit worried about what could happen at night in the woods to you. I don't want anything bad to happen to you.” “Thank you for worrying about me. But I’m sure I saw a shadowy creature out there.” Asher pointed to the spot in the tree line where he thought he seen a shadowy creature. Thomas looks out where Asher is pointing, looks closely at the spot and then looks back at Asher. “I don’t see anything there now, so whatever you seen is gone now so we should go.” “Yeah we should.” Asher walked back to the group with Thomas. Max smiled at them. “Now that you are back from your detour, let's get back on track to check out the warehouse that has been getting attacked by the creature or spirit that is causing the problems. The warehouse is also the most recent place to be attacked lately.” As they all walked up to the warehouse they saw the marks on the side that looked like claws had tried to cut through the side of the building. Whatever it was, it was big. The marks were over four foot long and there were four of them. They cut through the tin side of the build with one try. Max watched Asher's as he looked at the marks and touched the tin to see how clean the cut through the tin was. “The marks on the outside aren't even the half of it, the thing attacked three nights ago so we haven’t cleaned up the mess the thing made. The inside and door are so much worse, but weirder is the fact that the thing cut the power to the warehouse. So we need to use flashlights on the inside of the building to see what we are doing.” Max takes a backpack off his back and opens it up to pull out four flashlights and hand one to everyone. He keeps one for himself. “Here you guys go, I brought enough for everyone.” Eric took the flashlight max hands him as he asked. “Why are you so prepared for this tour if you weren't meant to take us on the tour?” “Oh, well I was meant to go on the tour too but miss White is the head of facility so she was suppose to be the one talking while I just add important stuff and hand the flashlights out. I’m a specialist like Miss White, but I’m not really a higher up and not as respected as Miss White since I come from a family of witches.” Asher looked confused at Max as he took his flashlight. “Why are you not Miss White’s equal if you are a specialist here too?” “Well I’m a specialist of potions and she is a traditional scientist. Plus she works on big projects, while I make potions that are sold at the Winters potion shops around the world. And I’m only here to help deal with all the problems. Plus people look down on people from witch families so anyone who comes from one is rarely treated as an equal. But at the facility I normally work at I am the head of it. Plus I’m a lot younger than Miss White. So she looks down on me.” “If this isn’t your normal facility then why were you here when the ritual was done before they were done building?” “The Winters flew me in just before the ritual took place to help deal with the weird thing that happened before it. The Winters figured it was a witch causing all the problems and I’m the only one with a witch family member on the payroll so they asked me if I could help figure out what was going on and I said sure. So I was flown out here just before the ritual and went back to my facility a few weeks later tell things got out of hand and they asked me to come help, but know of the potions I have made to rid us of spirits have work nor has any of the potions I made to protect from spirits have worked. And not to toot my own horn but I am an amazing potion maker, I might now have inherited the ability to use magic like spells from my mom but I did get her ability to make great potions.” Max leaned closer to Asher as the others walked into the warehouse and whispered. “That's why I think the thing doing this is a creature, but the Winters won't believe me because they don’t think any creature would get this involved in human matters.” Max shrugged his shoulders as he walked away from Asher. Leave Asher with so many questions. Inside the warehouse was massive destruction. Wooden crate boxes smashed to bits and pieces of glass everywhere. Boxes that had been stacked on top of each other were pushed over and everything inside was destroyed.
