The following morning, Alaric woke up to an empty bed. He looks at the bathroom, and he sees that it's open."Andro, you're in so much trouble," Alaric says as he's walking to the bathroom. "Where in the hell is that woman?" He's looking around at an empty room. Alaric was about to contact her when Niam asked him through their link, "What is the queen wearing?"
While getting dress Alaric says he doesn't know what she's wearing and asks him where his mate is. Niam tells him she and Lana went toward her office. He tells Niam he's on his way down. When their links break, Alaric realizes that he never told him what Andro was wearing.
