Alaric is still on the sofa when Andromeda and Aphrodite return. He and the others never left the room; they had been waiting to hear what happened. The two women are laughing at Dorian and Brandon. Andromeda tells them all the details, except for the part where her mother revealed who they were. She saves the part about Brandon not being her father's son for last. And he seems to be in denial.
"So the conceited prince wasn't a prince at all." Niam chuckles.
Taj laughs, "Everything Brandon did to keep you from being the queen was a waste of time. I know he feels like shit."
