Victoria came around the next afternoon.
I was changing her dressings when she opened her eyes.
Her first instinct was panic.
"What? what are you doing?" She tried to sit up. The pain knocked her straight back down.
"Luna, please don't move," I said, pressing gently on her shoulder. "Your wound hasn't healed yet."
Victoria stared at me with naked suspicion.
"You did this to me, didn't you?"

"I'm sorry?"
