"It's me, Barbara."
Hearing Liora's voice, I quickly got up from my bed, smoothing down my messy hair. I opened the door and smiled.
"Are you feeling better?" I asked.
"Somewhat. How about you?" Liora glanced at the bandaged wound on my arm.
"It's healing well," I nodded. "Do you need something?"
Liora hesitated for a moment before replying, "I just wanted to invite you for some tea and a chat."
I nodded, gesturing for her to wait. "Have a seat. I'll brush my hair first."
