I stepped out of the bed as the morning sun shone it's radiance on my house. The thick vervet curtains I had in my room were enough to block out any form of sun rays but that did not make the room any less hot. It was like a hot summer afternoon and I had to increase the air conditioner to maximum in order to stay in the room.
I heard Lisa closing her door and heading towards the living room. I could not come out for she might be surprised if I do not walk her out. And besides, she might get suspicious if my skin becomes red from the heat of the sun that might shine on the dining.
