My eyes opened as the terrible migraine brought me back to the land of the conscious. I could feel my head banging and my ears itself felt like they were about to explode. Suddenly there came a sudden high pitched sound so loud that I had to cover my ears. I was out of breath and the air itself was not fit to be breathed. A large part of the apartment had been destroyed and the smell of gunpowder the grenade contained made it all worse. I tried to breath and think clearly but I could not. That was when I felt a sharp pain behind my head. The intensity of the pain seemed to increase by the second and when I touched it, I felt a large cut at the point where my head had met the ground.
