The small room is quiet, comfortable, letting me be alone with my thoughts without the guys interrupting them, without being distracted by the guys.
I’m glad that Audrey told me about my parents offering her money to lie in court, to make her lie to a judge to fit my parents’ story. Because it shows how low they’re willing to go. I don’t get why my parents would do this. Why they’d be putting themselves at so much risk by lying, by literally creating a lawsuit based on lies, based on claiming that Max’ facts were only lies he made up to harm them, when they know the truth. When they know that he was telling the truth. It makes so little sense.
I can accept that all my life my parents were just trying to keep me in line by letting me do whatever I wanted, within certain limits,
