26 Max I lean back against the wall, letting my eyes go over the plain cell they put me in. Not exactly how I’d hoped to spend tonight, I’d hoped for my own bed and a nice long soak in my massive tub. But that went a little differently once we hit the city. There were a lot of people in front of my house, some were obviously reporters, but some people were carrying signs saying that I should die, that I should be taken from this world, that someone killing me would be the only right thing. All because they believe that I took someone else’s Omega. The shutters over the windows were down and covered in paint and things I didn’t want to think about.
