The Florentine Ball
"My lady/Young Miss"
Mea, Rea and Butler Liam are in front of me. Preparing me for the ball. "Am I going alone?"
I used the skill for today since I'm curious about what it looked like and should know the people I should avoid. The male leads and Female lead would probably in the spotlight while the Villainess would be causing a scene.
Should I bring a popcorn?
After my class with sir Clive I started to make some sweets and popcorn.
"No young miss! We would not---- I mean Mea will be with you" butler liam said. His afraid that incident will happen again.
"And with your father my lady" Yeah, We're meeting the king. The dress is made in sky blue with white lining. Thank goodness there are not a lot of accessories. But they made it comfortable.
After my preparation and arrival to the Palace.
Chrysanthemum, Lily's, Roses and various flowers all over the kingdom is decorated beautifully in the place.
Even though I was blind. I still have senses and not a ghost either. All whispers and gossips are about me. Would they not talk that loud? I could still hear them in a distance.
"My Lady, the Duke is here" Mea said. She's been my eyes and the one holding the stick for me in case I wanted to use.
"They come separately?"
"Duke Cliantha obviously hated his child"
"I heard his a jinx"
"We most stay away from her"
"Isn't she blind?"
"She's useless"
Someone pulled me away.
"Young Miss, just ignore them"
The reason father went here first because the king called. And it's not like I've been abandoned. There are still people like them.
"Aster?"
An embrace welcomed me.
I looked at father. "Let's go" I nodded in response. In entering all the gathered people glance on us.
"Duke Cliantha, It's been a while..." Archduke Kearney greeted. "Greetings, Archduke Kearney...."
I did not listen any further and left them behind pulling Mea to where I want to go. Since the Female lead is lonely in her first time here. I went to find where she was but no sign maybe because she is in the garden meeting the prince.
I saw her entered the hall. Mhmm. She's so beautiful no wonder every capture target have fallen to her. She sat on the least populated place inside.
"Would you like some" I offered some sweets that i brought. It's unladylike but can help avoid accidents.
"Thank you but I should-"
She hesitated. Maybe she thought that it's poisoned. I get one and ate it in front of her.
Since nothing happened to me. She also get one for herself.
"Don't be shy, it's my way of making friends with you"
Mea next to me is quite. She is holding the foods that I took somewhere here.
"How's the taste? I made them myself"
She took another one and I've been counting it's her fifth. "It's delicious, thank you" she smiled.
"Oh my, how rude of me... I'm Jacintha Emilia Sloane" she bowed gracefully. Finally the female lead is my friend. All I need to do is avoid them.
"Its alright, I'm Leilani Aster Cliantha nice to meet you! And next to me is Mea" Although Mea is a maid she's from a noble family with Rea and Shea. That's one of the reasons she is able to enter and attend this events.
"Friends?" I asked. It's quite rude if I'm the only one assuming. "Friends" her smile is brighter than the sun. I felt more in defeat.
"May I ask something Lei-"
"Call me Aster, Sure I won't mind" there is no need for asking a question.
"Are you blind?" For the minutes we spent she noticed that just now. "Yes and Mea here is my eyes and the person who guides me" gesturing to mea.
"Lady Jacintha, I'm Mea" she bowed in respect. She was surprised.
"Im sorry I should not have asked that.."
Jacintha was bit uneasy.
"It's alright don't be sad" giving her a juice that Mea brought for us to drink.
"I thought you were fine I'm sorry-" there was tears in her eyes. she thought it was rude. But it's not. I hate drama please don't cry. I'm not a villainess.
"Don't be, people say it a lot" I mean everywhere I went. We talked a lot until the royals announcement of arriving.
"I must go now. thank you. I hope to see again soon" she hurriedly went to her foster father.
"Then we should take our leave" Mea guided me to where father at in the hall. We bowed in respect first thing they entered. Since it's tradition that the Archdukes and then Duke's first bowed following by the nobles in respect. This implies in leadership and noble status.
"King Like and Queen Rose" the typical golden hair and blue Crystal eyes of king. Then the queen has Red hair and eyes. They entered hand and hand. I most admit they are like immortals.
"Crown Prince Lucas, Prince Nicolas and Princess Lily"
The crown prince inherited his father's features but has Golden eyes while the Prince Nicolas has the same age as Lucas but has his mothers features the Red hair and blue eyes. While the princess is like the mini version of the queen and the Second Villainess.
What a beautiful family. I remember the three gossiping during my preparation. But it's none of my concern.
"Where are you going?" Father asked me. "Going somewhere to breathe. It's too crowded here"
"Duke Cliantha..." a count called.
"Okay, Mea" he eyed Mea before we go out.
Outside of this hall is the Royal Garden but as much I remember there is a crystal garden that only the Royal family could enter.
"Mea, Can let me be alone for a while?" She hesitated. "But miss-"
"Please please, I won't go anywhere just going to sit near the fountain. Promise... and when you're gone get me some sweets please" She sigh in defeat.
"Will do young miss but I will come back soon" I nodded.
After leaving the place I walk and wonder around the place. Since I'm bored I started singing some songs while looking and holding the flowers...
I may look like an someone gone crazy but this happens when I don't play games and in events.
