Hendrik had to make an important business call, but Ginny followed Detective Keating and the policeman to the vicinity of where the first body had been discovered.
Mr. Warwick stood in the corridor by an open room with another policeman at his side.
“Mr. Warwick, what are you doing here?” Ginny asked him.
Detective Keating ordered the policeman standing with Mr. Warwick to block off the corridor and entered the room himself.
“I discovered the body,” Mr. Warwick said to Ginny. He no longer seemed upset about the note incident. Either that or he was too distracted to remember it.
“Did you see who it is?” Ginny asked him.
