Elena's POV
"How do you know him?" I asked him.
Something resembling regret filled his eyes. "We were business partners, at least for a short time. He was the first person I knew three years ago when I first came here. He duped me and I lost a lot of money to him."
I had made my own little research on Logan. Apparently, he and Joshua really were partners. But Joshua had a lot of bad tricks at hand and stole an estate from Lee. It was now I was sure the name was Logan Lee.
"You can have your revenge. Somehow," I said to him, hoping I had sounded really assuring. He nodded and remembered he could still smile again.
"Like I said ealier, I'm ready to support you fully with anything you need. If you only just let me."
My head tilted slightly to the side as I tried to weigh his words.
