Elena's POV
The screen lit up and everyone leaned in. A woman appeared on screen, walking unsteadily through a hallway. It seemed like nothing at first, because the lights were dimmed and everywhere just looked...calm.
Until you realize the woman was limping, almost like something was wrong. And then man appeared, following from behind. You couldn't have missed that face.
"Joshua." It was a soft whisper as I mouthed out.
The quality wasn't perfect obviously, but the outline, the voice...it was unmistakable.
Her voice echoed. "Joshua, stop. I said no. If you do this--"
"What? What will happen?? You are my wife and I own you, Lora! Why, because of a few punches, you think you have the right to divorce me? After everything I've done! I love you, Lora. I really do."
