I groan as the early morning light spills through my curtains, dragging me from a restless sleep. The prospect of the beach trip looms over me like a storm cloud, and I bury my face in my pillow, dreading the day ahead.
"Why did Liam have to agree to this trip so enthusiastically?" I think. "It’s going to be a disaster."
