Chapter 3Around eight the following evening, Ian set up shop in his and Mei’s room. From there, Mei and Vince would run the entire operation. Meanwhile, Adam and Regan sat in the lobby, waiting for Sandy Mulligan and her friends.
Luckily, they didn’t disappoint. At a quarter to nine, the college kids came piling out of the elevator, dressed up and already drunk. Taking up their position, Regan and Adam followed them to a nearby club.
Brookes followed, setting off for his meeting at nine. Mei trailed him to the marina, observing with high-powered binoculars as he boarded the ship, docked, and waiting. Previous intel suggested his meetings lasted no more than an hour. Hopefully, that meant he’d be back in his room no later than 10:30 P.M.
