Chapter 10 Coming to consciousness, Daniel quickly oriented himself. Clark lay next to him, warm and solid, softly snoring, and the quiet sounds of the loft felt familiar, comforting. He swung out of bed, used the restroom, washed his hands, and eyed himself in the mirror. A single weekend, and everything felt different.
