In less than half an hour, Larissa returned to Underwood Manor. She was still dressed in hospital clothes, her face as pale as a sheet. The doctor had initially refused to discharge her, insisting she stay for observation due to her stomach condition. But Karina's threats loomed over her like a knife to her back. For her mother's sake, Larissa forced herself to endure and rushed back despite her weakened state.
