When Susannah was introduced to cart pulling she was pleased to see she was paired with Rex.
She was also pleased that it was Emma who decided to pick them as her team. The races were held in a field marked out with lanes and there were cameras in all strategic positions because, as with most of the activities on the island, the commercial imperative held sway.
