Chapter 85 Bennett stood in the corner of his room, meticulously inspecting the polished curve of his bow. The morning light filtered through the half-drawn curtains, catching on the sharpened tips of his arrows lined neatly on the table. His movements were precise, almost ritualistic, as if he were calming himself before battle. A knock came at the door, firm and quick. He sighed, resting the bow against the wall before calling out, “Come in.” Leandro and Thomas stepped into the room, their expressions dark and purposeful. “Where are you going this early?” Leandro asked, his eyes flicking to the weapons. Bennett didn’t look up as he adjusted the string of his bow. “You already know where I’m going,” he said evenly. “Federico and I planned this hunt days ago. I intend to keep my word.”
