Nina's story starts on a warm summers evening. Born just before midnight to two overjoyed parents, Lauren and James Matthews. They loved Nina from the day they laid eyes on her, promising to give little Nina the world.
Nina had a normal childhood. She had toys and friends and a roof over her head. She had a bible on her bedside table and a heart filled with love. Nina had everything she could ever dream of. She had more than most kids could ever hope for. But Nina's story isn't one of joy and wealth forever, it only started that way.
When Nina turned nine years old her mother fell ill. She stayed in a hospital for two weeks, where she passed away. After that she only had her father. A father who still tried to give little Nina the world through all his own pain and sorrow. But there's only so much he was able to do on his own.
Because of stress and pressure James lost his job and started working odd jobs here and there to provide for poor little Nina.
By ten years old Nina fell victim to bullying at school.
"Such an ugly girl."
"Gross, she wears glasses."
"Kid with no mum."
"Poor."
"Freak, loser, pathetic, unwanted, useless..." And the list goes on. Poor little Nina, taking anti depressants at only ten years old.
Then came age eleven. Living in a mental institution fir multiple suicide attempts. Her father nit knowing what to do, feeling like he failed his pride and joy, his little princess.
At only twelve years old Nina has almost successfully killed her self more than once. And at thirteen she started smoking weed and drinking daily.
And when Nina turned sixteen her life was at its worst. Constantly trying to overdose, constantly in and out of hospitals, constantly high and constantly drunk, but no constant relief from the pain.
Finally at nineteen Nina's life seemed to turn around and become better.
