Elders Reunite

Elder Silvanie, Elder Christian, and Elder Natasha, reunion in the Temple Office. After resuming the information on Brielle’s training, and new information given by Witch Clara. “She relieves the lives of the cursed children when she opens the diary’s?” Christian voice was of disbelief.  “That is what Clara told us.” Silvanie adjusts on the couch.  “We thought that the nightmares were the worst, that her life will be calm now. Reading is not the same a living them, she could have warned us.” Natasha’s indignation was made clear by her voice. Elder Christian was in his thoughts.  “What do you think Christian?”  Silvanie focused on Christian since he was the oldest. “I think that if she did it this way, it’s because she knows the child is stronger.” His thinking face made Silvanie continue to talk.  “You most that any of us, understand the pain that it is seeing people suffering and dying, we had loved ones die, but not in this way, not destined to die.” His looks were calm and collected.  “Everyone is destined to die, the circumstances are the only thing different.”  “Not like this, they know that they are born cursed, and she already lost so much, we are trying to make the most normal, as possible for her.” Natasha was the one speaking with her heart on her mouth.  “No, she must learn that she is not normal, even if there was no curse, she would never be normal, you understand that. She had a destiny even if she was not the cursed human, she must learn to protect, learn to be herself. From what you had been telling me, she seems to be doing better than any of the others before, her strength is all around her, but she needs to know how to use it.” Christian is always the one that rationalizes every move. “Yes, even in the physical training, she has advanced a lot, not the same as a werewolf, but she was a strength that no one else has. A little bit more training and she will be able to take down a vampire even, and hurt badly a werewolf.” “She was always a great learner, that remained because is logical and not emotional since she can rationalize it has been easy to train her again on how to see the world, her general knowledge with people around her, family and pack, are being a great support for her lack of emotions, she can pinpoint something that she already saw to adjust to her new reality.”  They were sharing strengths and weaknesses. “Still, it is not going to be easy, Delmon diary and the others one, they all have so bad things in it.” Natasha was more concerned about how it can affect her. “Things that we also experience, so we can help her with that.” “She still needs to understand in her life, not ours.” They both looked at him. “Christian, you will need to be more open, is the only way for her to understand.” Crossing his arms. “I do not see the point of telling my life story, the times were different, she would not understand it. I will teach what I must teach.” His voice made the discussion over before it started.   “Talking about teaching.” Silvanie sighs. “He wants to meet with us.” The tension in the room rises.  “Is already that time?” Christian’s cold voice made sure to everyone his feelings about him. “Last time it did not work well, and Lilian only met him later on her 18  birthday.” The sadness in Natasha’s voice and concern made it clear it was too soon.  All looked at their respective hands, a silence invaded the office, even the water of the fountain seems to have stopped running just to give them that moment. “Still, we need to respond.”  Silvanie interrupts the silence.  “Is better now than later.” Natasha nods yes, “but not in here.” Also nodding yes, “and not in the pack.” Silvanie continues with the thought. “Why not in the pack?” Christian looking at the tactical conversation between the two women. “Clara said she still senses some dark magic around him but cannot find the source.” He continues looking at the conversation taking place. “Here then?”  “Brielle still has a few days of exercise with nature and feels the energy. One of the warriors can stay in the garden and look after her in case the energy becomes too strong for her, and we can go there.” They were about to open their mouths when a pink orb appeared near Natasha with a scroll. She picks up the scroll and reads it to her, then to the Elders. “Sorry to interrupt your meeting, no warrior needed, present Brielle to my private garden. I will take care of her while you are all gone. Love, your lovely and attentive Moon Goddess Elaine.” They all sigh. “She is even worse than your mother.” Silvanie pinches the bone of her nose. “When Elaine puts something in her mind nothing can go against her.” Natasha shrugs. “Do you think this is a good idea? She was weak after the nightmares?” Another orb this time green with a scroll appeared in front of Christian, Natasha rolled her eyes. “Why don’t you just join us?” Natasha screams to no one. “Dear Elder Christian, thank you for your care, I have been fine for a while, I will just be watching, not doing anything that could harm me, so rest assured that I am fine. Elaine P.S. Tell my sister to stop screaming. “ Natasha just looks at Christian eyes wide open. “She does know you very well.” Silvanie laughs and Natasha soon joins in. “Well, she is my younger sister. She better know me.” “Then we are off?” Christian looks like it was decided. “First, I need to warn them. Hope that Alpha will accept us there, not like we and the children have a good history with his family.” The cold voice of Natasha’s voice catches them off guard.  “Clara is there now. I think he may have found a way to forgive or at least live with what happened.” Silvanie tried to make the situation seem better.  “Still, what do you think will happen when the pup finds out?” Worry was now in her voice. “Let us not worry about that now.” Christian discarded the information. “Correct, first, the pup test needs to be done.”  Silvanie backs Christian up. “I will send word to Clara.” Only they know where Natasha’s power can go once it’s unleashed.  “Another thing, what story is this about the child going to school? That is not responsible, she should be homeschooled, we already know what happens when they go away from our protection.” Christian changes subject.  “It was her parent’s decision, Brielle told them that she wanted to continue her plans on studying and helping in the companies they have.” Silvanie focuses her eyes on Christian, she knew he would not like the idea. “That is a NO. She cannot be exposed to that much. They will find her in no time.” Nether Silvanie. “Is not for us to decide. She is different, Christian, not like the other children, she can see a future, we cannot take that away from her, it will crush her.” Natasha was the only one on Brielle’s side on this one.  “She can learn from home, or here at the temple. And Working? In the Human world?” Christian was trying to prove his point of view. “She is human, and her abilities will help her in either situation.” Silvanie already tried persuading Brielle’s father, she only got the answer that he would do everything he can to make her happy, even going against the Elder’s. “Right her abilities. We all know how that turns out.” Christian like all of them became part of the story of the 9th children.   “That is why you are here also, you are the most qualified person to teach Brielle how to protect herself in the world, you can help her keep her guard up to whatever eventuality.” Natasha tried to show him that his help is needed for everything to work. “The school will be a pack school, everyone knows her, it will also be training amongst the ones that know her so that she can control her power.” Silvanie used the same arguments that Brielle’s brother used to convince her.  “You know she has spies everywhere even inside packs.” Christian was not convinced. “We cannot shield her forever, she needs to live, she needs to have a plan for her future, something to work for.” Natasha made her arguments and Silvanie picked them up to continue. “Her senior year will help her adjust to the world again.” “I think this is a bad idea. After graduation what is next, a degree, a university? Are you thinking, she will be alone and unguarded, everyone will know who she is? Do not tell me you have her university in pack lands also?” Silvanie and Natasha looked at each other, then at Christian. “That is why she will have to be perfect on her gifts before she graduates,” Natasha said and Silvanie continues. “ That is why you are training her. Once she can use her skills, she can protect and disguise, and blend like other people.”  His hands move to the back of his head. “Still her appearance will get her notice. “ He was caving to them.  “Not if she goes to a human school.  Nowadays they all color their hair in different colors so she will blend there and not stand out.” Once again Natasha starts and Silvanie finishes. “Lutrice will never go look for her in a human school, she will think that we will always be close by, and she is under our wing.” Christian opened his mouth but closed and was thinking. “We are going in to hide her where everyone can see her?” He looks like a tactical leader, considering all options.  “That is still being talked about because Chadrick and Vicktor are reluctant to let her go just like you.” Natasha knows that the pack school they agreed on, but the human school was another story. “They will understand that is the best for Brielle.” They changed looks, knowing how difficult the brothers can be about Brielle. But in the end, she is their little girl, they will do anything for her. “How will we know if she is secure?” A blue orb appeared in front of Silvanie with a scroll that she picked up. “Seems it's my turn.” “There are some descendants of Atargatis that usually go to a human school, once you find out what school Brielle enters, let me know and I will see some bodyguards for her. Elaine, one and only, that was contacts everywhere. “ “I had forgotten them!” Natasha had a thinking face. “They are not strong enough against shadows.” Christian looking at Natasha. “This pack is. It has been trained by me.” Silvanie and Christian continued looking at her.  “Some of them are offspring mated with werewolves, and are also Moon Goddess Warriors, the difference is they can decide on their 18  birthday what they want to become. Elaine saw how the first hybrids went crazy for having two different species inside them and human also, so Elaine made a pact with some other goddess and gods, every hybrid born from a werewolf will have the capacity on her or his 18  birthday decide to stay with one of them or both, that calmed everything down.”  “What happens to the soul of the one that perishes?” Silvanie asked with curiosity, the first time she was hearing about this. “They reincarnate. Since the beginning of times the Moon Goddess had a pact with Fate, to reincarnate wolves, she just extended that pack to the sons of the mated to the wolves. I am not sure of the details of the pact with fate.” “That explains a lot!” Christian suddenly burst, made them look at him.  “What explains?” He looks at them. “Don’t you ever wonder why the Moon Goddess before your sister always finds their mate once they ascend, and your sister did not?” Silvanie eyes widen. “Do you think so?” Natasha interrupts. “No, that is not possible.” Christian posture changes and curves front putting his arms on his leg for support.  “Is the only explanation.” They all stayed quiet, the eyes told everything, better not to say because she is listening. Silvanie stood up. “I must go to make the word to Clara about the meeting. I will contact you once I have news.” Natasha also got up. “I also need to prepare for training. I will come with you.”Only Christian was left in the office, still thinking. ‘Yes, that makes perfect sense.’
