Dreams - The one that can Forsee

I woke up near a pond, or maybe on a pond, not too sure about it. Because I was is a recondite rock, that seems like a sofa. A big rock horizontal in my back, another below me, in both ends different sizes of rock, doing almost like a hand placer. At each side of that there was a mini waterfall coming down. When I sat on the Rock Bench, my feet touched the water, it was cold, but felt nice.

I then glanced around, and Koi fish coming to my feet. Small water lily’s where floating all over the pond, around it is was a perfect path of rocks that came right to the place I am. And on the other side of the pond a bridge, a light white with cherry trees each side of it.

On the bridge, there was a girl, looking at me. She seems to be about my age, or maybe a little older. She had a long silver hair, a dark brunet skin color, like if she spends a lot of time in the sun. Her eyes are moss green, but still incredibly beautiful. Then she starts coming down the bridge a following the path to where I was at.

I felt secure looking at her, I do not understand why. But it feels like I knew her my entire life.

She came up to the rock bench and sat beside me in silence, like if she was making her presence secure. Then as she looks at the koi fish. “Did you see him?” I look to her confused. “See who?”, she pats the water with her feet “The Black Wolf?” She stops and stares at me. “How do you know about the Black Wolf?” her eyebrow lifts. “Because I send him to you.” Jumping in my place and got a little away from her. She notices the fear.” You sent that wolf to kill me? WHY?” I scream in fear.

How could I be so wrong, she sent an animal to kill me, but I felt so secure around her. I do not understand. “He what? No that is not it. You where suppose to meet him, so that you two formed a link in this world.” She was waving her hands in disbelief. “He chased me and was about to jump on me if these shackles didn’t save me once again.” She started talking first to herself them to me. “That is not possible, you are! Is not possible. Wait! Tell me what happened?” I told her everything. She sights. “I knew it would be difficult invading her nightmares.” I sit down again. “Who’s nightmares?”

“The witch that made the curse. You know her. She always appears in the first encounter after we fainted.” I try to remember. “The woman and the tree?” She nods. “Yes. You will find out the whole story once you wake up. The Elders will help you understand.” I look to the water, and then to her again.

“Hmm. Sorry but who are you? And why do I feel like I know you?” She smiles. “I am You.” Widen my eyes at her “What?” she passes her hand on the hair. “Well I was You, is better said. I was a cursed child. You will know my story when you read my diary. The Moon Goddess gave me two gifts, to help me survive. I could see the past and the future. I learn our stories seeing it in the eyes of the Elders. And by another person that you will meet. I saw the vast futures that the future child would have. “My eyes are now glued to her. “You are dead?” She laughed. “Not now. But in your time, Yes.” Then she looked at the water again. “And how come you are here now, in these. You called it nightmares.” She looks at the end of the pound. “It is a long story. And if she found the wolf, she will soon find me. But I will try to put it simples. I am now with a witch, a powerful one. She is helping me, to help you get thought this night, helping you survive.”

“Why, why are you helping me.” She turns to me again hope in her eyes.  “Because in one of those futures I saw you. With a future of your one. No more cursed children. You are the key, to free us all.” Her eyes are now moist tears trying to appear. “What do you mean free you all???” She picks up my hands. “All the cursed children are you.” I am in disbelief. “That is not possible.” Her eyes show determination. “Yes, it is. We revive. Thanks to the moon goddess when she helped ease the cursed. She only discovered that after. That the wolf in her world was linked to the child in this world. And every time the child is born, the wolf is reborn.”

“I have a wolf!” I almost shouted. “Not per say. Since we are human. But the cursed only cut the connection to the wolf. You do not have a wolf, but you also have one, only not with you.” I looked at her blinking my eyes. “Ok that is confusing.” Chuckles “Let us say. You have a wolf, but it’s not with you in wolf form.” She points at the shackles, and they glow. “OHHHHHHH My wolf is the one who is saving me?” And she smiles. “With a little help from the elders.” She added with trust. “Can I meet my wolf?” I was excited. “Maybe.” Big smile. “Can you show me?” She nods her head and keeps smiling.  “No. I do not have that power. But maybe the Moon Goddess will show you. If you beg a little bit. She is a softy.” We laugh for a while. Then a wind starts to pick up. She looks at the end of the lake, and frowns.

“I do not think we have much time.” I Look at the same place she is looking, and see a black tree appearing.

“When you wake up you will see that you are different.” She points at her hair. “I will have silver hair?” I look at her hair again.  “Yes. Just do not freak out over it, is one of the effects of the curse.”

We start earing whispers far away, getting closer. “She cannot see the pond. Stand up.” She tells me. And after we both stand. She says something I cannot understand. Her and my ankles glow, and everything around us disappear. I look around and we are at a clearing.

“Just remember, be strong, train your mind and body, and do not let him find you before your 20th birthday. Hide, go far away from the wolfs world. When the time comes, he will come to you. But it will not be easy, so survive. You have a long way ahead of you. You have something we did not have. You have a family to protect you, they will help you.” The last part was told with sadness in her eyes. I could not understand why. “Even if everything seems lost, please survive. For us all.”

After this she keep her eyes on the dark glow that was almost near us. And then. “Look what we have here.” We listen from the dark. She comes up from inside the tree. The black dress connecting to the tree like I first saw her. “The child that could foresee her death and the child that is going to die. Did you see that coming?” Laughs “Lutrice, long time no see. I see time has not been kind to you. Still grounded to that dying tree.” Sarcasm. “Do not forget your place child, since you are part of that dying tree also. See that little branch in the top? That is, you.” She was looking the woman named Lutrice right in the eyes. I looked to the branch of the tree she pointed out. It was a small branch that seems to erupt through the center of the tree all the way to the top. And in the end of the branch was a black flower, like it was ceramic, perfect, but pinch black. “You are the one trying to make me nightmares more pleasant to her. You know you will be dead, so you could not help her. Only one cursed child can be born at a time.” I look back at the woman and then to the girl beside me. Her eyes had pain, but she erased it a few seconds after. “I do not care if I die. I know she will live.” She was determined. “Are you sure? Because she is already dying, right beside you.”

My chest clench with the pain. I did not saw. Lutrice has closed her hands and was twisting them. The girl looks at me, fear in her eyes. She then startled me when she hugged me. And I heard her sing: “By the power of the Moon Goddess and my protector. Let her pain became mine.” And then the pain went away, and she collapse on the floor, holding her chest. “You stupid child. I will kill you, and then her. There is no escape.”

“G-Go. Run. Y-y- your wolf will pull you out. Run until you see a lake, and then jump.” She whispers. Then I saw her ankles glow. She was going to be pulled out. I started running to, nowhere. I just turn away and run, not looking back. “You will not run from me again.” Screams “Get her”, Whispers ‘Yes Milady’

I continued running, for a long time. I started seeing light a lot of light. When I got closer, I saw a lake with the soon bathing in it. “Jump to the lake she said.” And when I was about to go in the light to jump, something caught my leg. I did not want to look. I started kicking with everything I have, and the hand seems to release me. And then I jumped.
