Elite Test

P.O.V. Elder Natasha Lunch was normal, every warrior was in the pack house eating like is no tomorrow. It was noise but fun. I never had a dinner like this in a long time. It helped relax. After, I went with Elder Christian to his room, to put a new light orb helping him get better. He could walk with a walking stick that had a werewolf head in the handle. The Alpha offered him. I went back to the training ground with all of them. Once I was going down with Eliska and Hammond by my side. I look and see Chadrick talking to his Brother. Vicktor if I recall, and Vicktor did not seem to have a friendly face. Seems the conversation between those two was not an easy to take. Then they notice me coming to the end of the staircase, and the mood shifted.  “Strange” I went closer to them. “You know my brother, Vicktor.” I give a little bow to him. “Yes. We meet yesterday. Although I did not see you at lunch.” He looks at me. “I was on Alpha duties. Just got back.” I study him. His body seems fit since he been working out with Chadrick. “Are you joining the training?”, “I was hoping I could watch. Even if I am not a warrior per say. I am the future Alpha of the pack.” I know that voice. “I do not have a problem with that. And you seem to know your brother better that his warriors.” His eyebrow goes up. “What makes you say that?” I decide to test them. “Just talking! You two train even before the pack comes for training correct.” They both stiff. But Vicktor answer. “Although I am not a warrior. I do train, my brother helps me. In a personalized training.” That last part was not very convincing. “Are you sure he is the one helping you?” Looking at one another they just stay silent. I decide to change the conversation. “So Chadrick, ready to bring your A Game. Or are you going to make me regret training you to the Elite Test.” I tense at the last part looking at him. “Elite Test? That is a test can only be performed by a Commander of the Royal Guards, or the Commander of the Wall Guards.” Vicktor seems surprised. “Yes. You are looking at both.” They lock eyes with so much intensity, that I almost laugh. “Now we have a lot of ground to cover. And after this all, I need to talk to both of you, to why some of the Warriors in your pack did not go to the Elite Guard School.” I look at both.  “We will not take them away from their mates, just to do a test. I can train them also.” Chadrick says with confidence.  “Sometimes, it is needed to do so… but we will talk better about this. And after today, maybe you will understand better why.” If the eyebrows could kill. I ignore them and start going to the warriors. “WARRIOR’S” Everyone starts to quiet down. “In the afternoon I will first do a small endurance and attack test with your Alpha, to see how defense is. The ones that are teamed up to warrior’s Eliska and Hammond, are going to do the same training we do. The other already have the orders for the next training to improve. This time I just need you as witness, do not intrude at any cost.” I lock eyes with Eliska and Hammond and they do a little bow, like all the other warriors of the school. “What was that. Why those must do the same training?” Chadrick leans closer and asks in a low voice.  “Because they are special. You will see why. Ready Alpha?” We go to the same place in the morning, but this time Vicktor is close by watching with is arms crossed over the chest. We start looking at each other observing the moves of one another, going in circles to access. His stance is different this time more power coming from him. I smile, finally he got serious. I try to check him up, doing a normal stand fight to see if he picks up. He dodges fast, and I gasp. “When did his turns got better?” I got low fast enough for him to miss a high quick. We spar for a couples of minutes. The fight was balanced. This time he was picking up my speed, and my moves. I had to put a level up, so I released my power, and my stance also chances. I start to do Vampire training. “Vampire training picks up your agility skills because they are fast and usually werewolves are slower. We had to endure special training and abilities. Since I am and Elder, I can increase my speed way up the normal werewolf, and the Moon Goddess Warrior also.” He picks up at my change, and adjust, and our speed increases by 50%. The strikes are so fast, that to normal human will be as we almost disappear. I landed a few strikes at him, in my speed, but he also got me. On one off my jump back, he catches me by the ankle and through me at a tree nearby. I sense my back hitting the tree and the column snap, making me land face in the floor. I got up and look at him. Start running at him, hitting directly in the stomach with my head, then put him up, and do a back turn and his head hit the floor first. Then I turn around, and he was already up. “WHAT?” He launches at me and pins my head with is arms. “Surrender.” He screams.  “Are you kidding?” I do a back flip on him, supporting me on light. His eyes widen at that and then we are in different positions, with my legs around his neck. “Surrender.” I tell in a joking matter. He then picks my arms and slams me in the floor. Falling back, my back on the floor, and another c***k. “Sh*t I can endure about 6 broken ribs”. He gets up with a little difficulty. I am also with difficulty coming up, and when I am up, I am launched far away from the place I was standing. “Wait was that a light throw?”  I look up and see the right arm of Chadrick glowing. “It’s impossible without the Moon Goddess Mark to master the light. That means he does not have control over it?” Then another light hit me, but this time I shield up with a light shield. Time to show him how to use it. I shout out. “Chadrick! Think of a weapon in that hand. RIGHT.NOW.” He looks at me confused. I stand up and show it to him. In my right hand appears a Double Side Sword, blades of pure light. Everyone gasps at me and stops what are doing. I see Vicktor and Chadrick eyes widen and looking at me. Then I see him looking at his arm, and fear comes in his eyes. He starts to take deep breaths to calm himself down. “No. Chadrick. Focus. Imagine a weapon in your hand. Start with something small.” I make mine disappear and run up to him. But he thinks I am going to attack and strikes again. This time I had two shields in front of me. Everyone gasps seeing Eliska and Hammond in front on me with two Huge Light Shields.  “I told you guys not to intrude.” They lower their heads. “Yes, Commander.” That was a shock. Chadrick and Vicktor had their eyes widen, and mouth open. And that calmed him down, no light. “Chadrick.” I call to him. “They…. They…” He gasps. “Yes. I know. They are Moon Goddess Warriors. And so, are you.”, “What?” His voice hitches. “That makes sense.” Vicktor approaches us.  “How come it makes sense. And how do you know about the Moon Goddess Warriors?” Chadrick spat at his bother.  “Come on. I am the future Alpha. I must go to the castle sometimes. I must know everything.” He just responds like his brother is the dumbest person on earth. “Did you know about Brianna then?” Chadrick hisses. “No. That they keep even me in the loop.” His voice was low and sad. “And those two did you know about them?” Chadrick points at Eliska and Hammond. “No. I did not.” Vicktor looking at them. “I knew.” Their eyes come back to me. “I can sense my warriors, and the auras of the new ones.” And I point at the six that I put in charge of them. “They need to go to the Elite Academy for training.” They both look at the six that seem to be confused to say the least. “Seems the Moon Goddess got your pack covered. You have some that are helping the Plainfield Pack, that will also need training. 10 to be precise.” If their mouths would drop on the floor. “How do you know that? You never meet.” Chadrick points it to me. “I can mind link any of the Moon Goddess Warrior’s whenever they are. And you have two there.”, “Who?” Vicktor and Chadrick ask at the same time. “Moon Goddess Warriors Tangela and Bale.” They look at each other. “Those are one of my best warriors next to these two.” And he points at Eliska and Hammond.  “I know.” I smile. “They are the best between the best from the Moon Goddess and you will need them. But now.”  I walk closer to Chadrick and I chant. A little orb appears near me helping me heal. And another near Chadrick. “I need to help you train your light ability. Give me your right hand.” He looks at me funny. “What??? I will not bite. For now.” He blushes, and his brother holds a smile, but the corner of his mouth smirks a bit. After he extended his hand to me. I do the seal chant: “By the Power of the Moon Goddess. I give you this seal, to help you use the light power within you.” And the Moon Goddess Symbol appears in is hand, the power of the light opens to him. Making him tense sensing so much power. “Now.” I put my right hand beneath his hand. “Think of something small like a dagger, looking at your hand. The first times you will need to look at it to visualize it. After practice you will only need to think what weapon you want in your hand and it will appear.” He looks at his hand all focus, I try not to laugh. The first times we always do funny faces trying to concentrate. After a few moments nothing happens. Then I help him by activating the symbol. A small dagger starts to appear but very faintly. And he smiles. “We need to train that more. You need to invocate a proper weapon so that I can pass you in the test.” He stops and looks up at me. “I need to do what?”, “Do not stress. Just train that first because I don’t think you are a dagger man. But start with that one.”, “Can I do a Hammer?” I look at him. His eyes like a child. “Why a Hammer?” And he smiles.  “It’s big and powerful.” I sigh. “Start with something small. How about a sword after the dagger?” I try to convince him. “Hammer.” He responds confident. I lift an eyebrow at him. “If you can summon a perfect functional hammer until the test. I will pass you. But you need to fight me with it.” Both brothers look at me. “A Hammer of Command is the most difficult weapon to summon in light. But if you can do it, that means you maybe are a Guard also.” I was more thinking out loud, but they heard me. “A Guard?” They ask. “Guards are the ones bellow me that can command armies of warriors.” I explain. “If I have the hammer. I can become a guard?” Boys and toys.  “Not that easy but is a start. You still need some training at the temple. But since my sister can open a door in Brielle room. Maybe she can open one here also, so you can go and train and come back to your pack.” “We have a temple door in the pack house.” Vicktor screams. “Why do you think you have so many Moon Goddess Warriors in your pack?” I give him a big smile. “That is a huge information.” I nod. “I know.” I look at Chadrick and I see he has a lot of question. Since he is looking at me with puppy eyes like the kid that just found a new toy. “Let us continue the training. After I will answer your questions.” We continue with the training until hunger stroke, and we all went to eat. In the few hours, Chadrick was able to put the light dagger to work. It was impressive. Then after a few throughs with it at a tree, we call it a day. Went to take a bath and eat. The pack house was full as always. This time Elder Christian told he would eat in is chamber, because he wanted to have force to see the Test, and it was too much noise. He is not a very people person. Chadrick showering me with questions. “You told us in the clearing you can mind link the Moon Goddess Warrior’s. Can all Elders do that?” I look to him. I see through the corner of my eyes that Alpha Gabor and Luna Adamaris, are listening, but trying to hide it looking at other people and asking them questions about the training and day. “No. I am the Commander of the Guard so I can mind link them. The Elders can only mind link one another, or their pack.” And he continues. “Can you mind link others?” I respond without thinking.  “Yes. I can mind link however I want.” That got Alpha Gabor and Luna Adamaris attention. “You can mind link anyone?” Alpha Gabor asks. I mind link everyone at the table: “Yes. I can mind link all werewolves only.” They all look at me. “Why is that? Since you said warriors because you are the commander and Elder because you are one also. How come you can mind link every wolf.” Luna Adamaris. I lower my head, and Chadrick looks at me. “Is because she is your sister?” I look at him, and nod. “Who is her sister?” Luna Adamaris. I raise my head and look at her. “My younger sister is Elaine the Moon Goddess.” Every mouth on the table is now open. Until a question interrupt everyone. “Wait. If the Moon Goddess is your younger sister. Then how old are you?” It was Chadrick. My heart stops at that, and my wolf got all attentive. “Chadrick. I think your education is better than that.” Luna Adamaris scolds him.  “It’s ok” I said. In a small voice. I lock eyes with Chadrick. “I am 519 years old.” I saw his eyes widen at that. My wolf, howl in my head. “That is a lot of time my dear.” Alpha Gabor “And have you meet you mate in that time.” Luna Adamaris elbowed him, making him flinch. “We Elders do not have mates.” That made everyone quiet. The most embarrassing moment in my life.  I never had problems saying this, to get out of those who wanted me to mate. But this time it was killing me, knowing this fact. “Why is that?” Now it as Luna Adamaris in a soft voice. I glance at them. I think they saw the sadness I could not hide. “Elders live far more years than normal wolfs. The Moon Goddess decided to not mark a mate for us. That way we do not endure the pain of losing our mate to soon in your life journey.” “But that means you can mate. You only do not have a predestined mate.” Luna Adamaris affirms.  “Yes. But it will be like knowing that you will lose him or her, no matter what you do.” She looks at me with tender eyes. “My child. Better to have loved and lost, to never being able to love. You saw so much in the years that you already lived, must know that.” I had tears, for the first time in my life, going down my face. Because I never put that possibility that I could have true love. “You would be the luckiest werewolf. Although you do not have the mate bond, you have true love.” She continues. I saw her eyes also tearing up, and I knew it was not because of me. But because of a little girl, that just turned 16 years. That because of a curse, is doomed to never find her mate. I lock eyes with her. “She may not have a mate. But she is the key to everything. I am sure she will find true love, even in the state she is in. Because that is the only thing, that can conquer all.” I then look at Chadrick, and his eyes had admiration??? I bring back my attention to the Luna, that was already drying her tears. And Alpha Gabor, that was holding his, to never seem weak in front of his warriors. We end, and I see Chadrick going back to train. Eliska and Hammond goes with him. He tells me I should not go. He wanted to show me he can do this without me, because the warriors told at the table, that I usually only appear in the test. I went back to my room. I had to get the scroll for the test. After a few hours, we all gather around for dinner time. I see the warriors and Chadrick coming inside and going upstairs to take a bath first. He had the biggest smile on his face. ‘So, how was the training’ Link Eliska and Hammond. ‘You have to wait and see commander’ They keep me in the loop. ‘Not even a clue?’ I try to pry. ‘That would not be fair’ I sense a smile on their side, and proud in their words. They like their Alpha and have respect for him. After dinner we all gather around the clearing for the test. Alpha Gabor, Luna Adamaris, Alpha Vicktor, the girl Patrice, and all the warriors. Me and Chadrick in the center. “This test will be a fight to surrender. You can use any ability you want. Is not about winning or losing but giving your all. Show your strength, and prove you can protect everyone off us, from all the dark forces. Let us start.” I chant and put a big light orb above the clearing giving light. Before we start. I hear a familiar voice. “Good, I got just in time. Seems I have missed a few things.” Elder Silvanie arriving at the clearing. “Glad you could join.” Alpha Gabor looking back at her coming down the stairs. “An Elite Warrior Test. Is that Chadrick? And he as a Moon Goddess Symbol?” She was blinking looking at what was going on in the clearing.  “We have a lot to catch up my friend.” Luna Adamaris winks. The test starts, we summon your weapons. He seems proud to summon the hammer he wanted, and a big one. I roll my eyes.  I summon my weapon of election the Double Side Sword. “Man, and the big weapons. Goes down in a bang every time.” I tease him a bit. “Let’s see Kitten.” And he smirks at me.  “I told you I am not a kitten.” And at my first strike, he defends. Closer to his face I say. “I am a Tiger.” We continue, crossing weapons. The speed increases. I have an upper hand because I can summon a weapon and a shield. Even so, that hammer on my shield did some damage. After seeing myself launched in the air a couple of times because of the force of the air that the hammer emitted even if passing by me. I decided that the shield was in the way and put a small light barrier around my body.  He hit me once. This time I only slide a few centimeters away, he was getting tired. Its normal for the first fights, we still don’t have control of how much energy we are spending in the weapons. I see an opening and take it. The light of the hammer was staggering so I could pass below him, hit him in his stomach, making him crouch, and pushing him to the floor, where a put my blade between his legs. “Surrender?” I tease him. He tried to move, but every time he tried, the blades near is legs would s***h is skin, making him growl.  Then I see him shift. I jump in the air and land a few meters away. And in front of me I see a Black Wolf. I change my weapons to a Big Chain that spreads to the side. The wolf looks at me, and smiles. I know he is thinking that the current is too big and too heavy. That I cannot use it properly, but he is mistaken. When he starts running at me, my chains move behind him. He never gets near me, because my chains are already in is back paws, catching him, and putting him up in the air. He is hanging up in is back legs, struggling. I then bring him near me with the chain. “Surrender or do I need to drop you?” He then sifts back to human. “I surrender.” I put him back down, and some boxers appear in front of him. He frowns at that, and after putting them on. Looks at me, and smiles, because a was looking everywhere except him. He then comes near me, making me look at him at those firm abs walking my way. Leans closer to my ear. “You can look Kitten. I do not bite. Yet.” I blush completely. “That was quite the show.” Elder Silvanie came down to the clearing. “I thought I heard your voice.” I give her a big sister hug. Silvanie is older than me. She taught me a lot about the children, and how to be prepared for them.  “Don’t you have to give him something?” I blush, them remember…  “ohh the scroll.” “Congratulations. This is the scroll for passing the Elite Guard test.” And handle the scroll to him. The rest of the time was catching up with Elder Silvanie. “Elder Christian?” She said: “Still resting. I pass by his room before coming down.”
