“So, what did she have to say?” Ryan bugged me for the hundredth time. I ignored his question, packing up my things. The last student had just left and it was a great relief to me, repeating the same question over and over again.
“Keep those reports safe and go home, Ryan; enough of the questions,” I instructed, strapping my bag over my shoulder.
Ryan didn't move, he just kept looking at me like the answer was written on my face.
“But sir, she's the only one whose report isn't jotted down. What if the chief asks?”
