The next day morning, Jack came home on his own. He insisted to Lisa, that she would go on his own and not to follow him. As there are security cams in the entire community, Lisa thought to give him some independence after she got permission from Ivy.

She made sure that Jack got through the steps and she stayed on the stairway and looked down so she could see him going down to his floor.

There Ivy was waiting for him at the 8th floor staircase and was looking up for Jack to come down. Both Lisa and Ivy got scared to send Jack through the elevator alone, but through the staircase, they could immediately react and reach him, if anything came up.

On the 9th floor, there was a guy with a Tiger mask on his face. Jack immediately recognized him, that he was the same guy who he met at the airport when he first came to this city. Jack remembered him because of his very unique mask, as the tiger is blue in color rather than orange, which is a normal one.

Moreover, that guy always keeps one hand in the pant pocket while the other one is on his waist. Even though Jack met him only once, his image was printed in his mind, as he gave him the most beautiful Iron Man toy, which is available only in America.

Hey uncle, how are you?

Hm.. how are you doing?

Oh, I'm good. Are you staying here as well?

Yes, opposite your building.

Woah, tell me which flat, I'll come and visit you, Jack asked.

Ignoring his question, that guy asked, so did you find out who your dad is?

No. But, I like an uncle, who I wish to be my dad.

The man was very furious and trying to control his anger by holding his fist tightly in his pants.

Then, did he agree?

Not yet, it is still in process. My mom has to agree.

What if your Mom didn't agree?

I don't know, but she will do anything for me. So she might agree, she loves me very much.

The man was worried that Ivy would agree to bring a new dad and thought to make his plan move forward.

Jack, why are you not coming down? Shall I come up? Ivy shouted from the 8th floor after she finished her phone call.

I'm coming, Jack shouted turning around. Before he could say bye to the man, he said, ' Remember your promise and left from there.'

Weirdo! Jack thought about him and went down to his mom.

Jack let's go quickly, we need to go to school first and I need to go to the office as well.

Okay. Jack left from there and got ready for the school on his own. Ivy always made sure that he could do his things since very young. And she was glad that Jack was an obedient boy.

Ivy has seen a parcel in her car with a small bouquet of red roses. Ivy was surprised to see the parcel and roses, so she opened the package and found a letter and dress inside.

It was a beautiful red half-shoulder dress that toned her body skin tone. It used to be her favorite style 4 years back, which surprised and angered her to bring back old memories.

'Meet me at 7 pm at Hyatt Hotel. Yours Robin.'

Ivy could guess what this implies for a man to give a dress and roses and ask for a date night. This is not a good sign.

Mom, who gave you this? Jack asked.

Ivy didn't want to say it was Robin, so she said, your dad has sent a gift to me and also mentioned your gift will also be delivered soon.

Jack was surprised and thrilled to get a present from his dad. He felt happy and confused about whom to choose as his father. Since Jack never met his father, as a kid, he is treating whoever is nice and playing with him as Dad, as he has seen his friends like that only. But, this is not a good sign for kid's development. Ivy was going to have a tough time handling him later.

Okay, now let's go to the school first.

Ivy came late 5 minutes today and by the time she went to her cabin, Robin was waiting there.

Ivy thought to confront him regarding the package, and she was angry because of the dress which reminded her of old memories.

We need to go to the Hyatt Hotel tonight at 7:00 p.m. There is a client meeting, Robin said looking serious.

Ivy understood the reason behind the package, and she thought bad for thinking too much.

Client meeting with the Arab partners is very crucial, it was arranged hastily as they flew down to our city without any prior intimation. As it was sudden, we believe they are testing our potential on this project so, please be ready for tonight.

Ivy nodded her head and Robin left from there. By evening, Ivy got ready in the dress sent by Robin, though she didn't like to wear it, as she didn't have the choice to go with it.

She left her open and adored it with a small pin which is crafted in pearls, for earrings, she did' n't have anything to change rather than the same pearl studs she wore morning. Her collarbone was so sharp and attractive that Robin, couldn't take of his eyes off her, after seeing her at the reception.

Everyone was looking at Ivy, with jealousy and scoffing at her appearance. Someone commented, today, she would bag this contract for sure. Understanding the hidden meaning, everyone laughed at her. But, Ivy couldn't hear any of this and all the employees were against her because of the picture that was circulating among the employees.

Someone intentionally leaked the picture of her and Robin, from the most intimate angle which would give a wrong impression to anyone who sees it. No one knows where it all started, but it is circulating between all, everyone were sharing their point of view in their personal group. Is Ivy going to face the same fate in the past?
