CHAPTER 5
Lex couldn’t believe it… mate… he had just found one of his mates and it was Solo? What should he do? He wanted his mate, but damn it, what would that mean for him? What were the Fates thinking giving him a D.O.A. agent? A man that risked his life everyday to help others. A man that went away for weeks and months at a time? His cat couldn’t take that kind of separation.
Lex was so into his own mind, he never saw Jude and ran right into the guy, both men falling to the ground with Lex ending up on top, snapping his teeth so hard and biting his lip in the process.
“What the f**k, Lex? Get off of me.” Jude snapped, pushing on Lex’s shoulder.
Looking into the pissed man’s face, Lex went to apologize, but instead said, “I can’t be mated to a D.O.A. agent.”
