I picked up the call with lots of thoughts running in my head about my stupid best friend who disappeared all of sudden without any information.
There was a strange kind of silence between us, once I picked up the call, there was a certain kind of distance which has never been there before, we used to be three trios me Kamran and Fahim in fact four with my ex: Sara but she turned out to be a backstabber and played dirty games to create rifts among us which she never succeeded.
"Assalamualeikum," I heard his deep smooth voice after long two years as for three years he was in touch then he stopped and I wondered what got him do all these and I will definitely have my answers, I can't leave him spoil our long lost friendship.
"Waleikumsalam," I replied after a pause and I sighed,
