Nandini's POV @shefaliNaidu The other day we met up one of Manik's colleagues while shopping. “I hear your wife's expecting. When is the due date?” I ask after a few minutes of conversation. “October 2nd week.” “Oh! She must be having a hard time sleeping now, right?” “Uhm.. I don't know. Maybe.” “She doesn't get up a lot in the night?” “She is not here with me, ma'am. She is at my mother's place.” “Your mother's house? Why?” “What is the use of staying here? I would be busy at work. And anyway, how does my presence matter? She has my mother and her mother there to take care of her. I can't do that. Pregnant women need experienced women around. I will only go and bring her back after the baby is about 6–7 months. Old enough for me to handle them. So my mother said I am not needed
