Chapter 5

Nathan immersed himself in the intricate details of the microprocessor chip, his mind whirring with calculations and algorithms. The office around him buzzed with activity as his colleagues worked diligently on their respective projects. Amidst the flurry of productivity, Nathan found himself stealing glances at his phone, his thoughts drifting back to Harper.

With a sense of anticipation, Nathan opened the dating app, half-expecting to find a message from her. Sure enough, there it was – a notification from Harper. A smile tugged at Nathan's lips as he tapped on the message, eager to continue their conversation.

"Hey Nathan," Harper's message read, "Sorry for the late reply. It's been a hectic day at the hospital."
